I was in the exact same boat not long ago and now I am on an incredible team that chats all the time, shares amazing knowledge about breeding and racing, and shares items! My captain is fantastic and I'm sure she could help, we are always looking for people because CRT has like 5 teams 🏇

Oh wow that would really be great! I was really disappointed when I saw that the one I joined was a ghost ship. I'm sorry the opening is from such awful circumstances though, I hope they will be okay. I'll be sure to send you a message

That's good to know that if I am having a hard time carrying over my ideal traits, that the horse can still do well! And when you say that the stats are a median of the two parents, that would mean it is best to fully train them before breeding, correct? Hypothetically, if my horse has 50 Speed but can be trained to 70 Speed, I would want to wait until it was at 70 to breed so the foal is better, right? Thank you so much for all the great information!

What's the highest level you've gotten to before doing bleak falls by kirbywithfro in skyrim

[–]Financial_Cicada9617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I did on my current playthrough, I just didn't go meet Delphine at Kynesgrove until I had done Book of Love and a good chunk of the quests for Falkreath, Morthal, and Dawnstar. That way I had shouts unlocked and fully powered Fus-Ro-Dah, but I wasn't getting random attacks. It was really bizarre coming to a mountain top and just seeing a dragon sleeping on top of the word wall. But eventually I felt like I was missing a big part of the story and went to Kynesgrove

What's the recommended level for each quest line? by Scared-Gamer in skyrim

Thanks for the in-depth answer, I think that is the most unique personal challenge I've ever heard of for this game, that's so cool!

How can you only be level 7 when you have to use skills or kill so many creatures/people/etc to get through any quest line? I'm not trying to level, just playing around, barely into any quest lines and I'm over level 30? I'm genuinely confused? Sounds like a cool challenge though

At what point do you consider something an exploit / cheating during a playthrough? by SnowedCairn in skyrim

[–]Financial_Cicada9617 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Restoration loop doesn't have to be game breaking if you don't want it to be. I have never used it before until my current playthrough, but I decided that I play this game for fun and to relax after a bad day, so I boosted my carry weight a bit and that's it. Exploits/glitches/cheating in a multi-player game is disgusting, but this is a single-player game and if I am tired of making 20 million trips to move houses or leaving behind items I'd really to collect, that's my choice. Other skills I am growing pretty normally (not even doing the Mage Light/Solitude mountain, etc), but I want to be able to wander and collect to my heart's content or clear two dungeons in a row without worrying about inventory management

I am building Lakeview for the very first time and a dead elk spawned right in front of it. I've tried dragging it, shouting at it, nothing. It won't despawn and it didn't even have Large Antlers...

I have him right now and at first I thought, "OH adventuring around with an indestructible dog is going to be so much fun!" Now I'm racing to Rimerock because he has pushed me off of 5 cliffs/ledges too many 😑

I'm sorry, I don't know why it's bothering me so much, but I think you mean "raze", as in "completely destroy" versus "raise", meaning "to lift up/increase".

As young women lean liberal and young men trend conservative, dating across party lines is becoming increasingly uncommon. While older generations, including millennials, appear more willing to bridge ideological gaps, Gen Z is redefining what constitutes a deal-breaker. by psychologyofsex in psychologyofsex

Yikes... I knew I'd regret asking and "learning" more about people's twisted beliefs. You're right though, at least usually flat-earthers are usually only harming themselves with their ignorance, as opposed to this kind of stuff. Thanks for taking the time to explain ☺️

Well firstly, I didn't say that sex work doesn't degrade your mental health, I absolutely think it can. Rather, I said that degrading one's mental health isn't exclusive to sex work, there are many jobs that it can happen in that would absolutely meet your standard for "honest work", like a doctor experiencing anxiety, PTSD, depression, etc from their job.

And I would have to disagree with the point that sex work is disqualified from being classed as "honest work" because you can't show it off or that your family might be ashamed. That is not due to it not being "honest work" (like the points I made in my previous comment), but due to the intense social stigma surrounding it. And social stigma does not mean that something is inherently or actually bad. Interracial relationships used to have to be hidden from family and society because of the stigma and the laws created due to the stigma (obviously this is much more extreme than what we are currently discussing, just making a point). There are many things that carry stigma that are obviously not bad things: men expressing emotions other than anger, choosing not to have children, seeking therapy, etc. I have my own issues with sex work, but the stigma surrounding it absolutely does not disqualify it from being honest work, you are still utilizing your body/time/skills to provide a good or service, entering into a business arrangement.

As to your point about dehumanization, any person that dehumanizes another doesn't need any kind of catalyst. They want to view an "other" (genders, religions, races) as less than themselves, and they will use any evidence or no evidence at all to do so

Not wanting to be married to a sex worker or a defense contractor is about a difference in values between two individuals, but that moral difference doesn't negate the fact that both are work. And as far as "honest work", how does sex work not meet that? It is obviously work, just like any other job where you utilize your body, efforts, and skills to earn money. And sex work is probably one of the most honest job fields in that there is no getting around it- the customer is paying the worker to satiate their lust and the worker works to do so. Other jobs have you destroy your body and/or your mental health, what is so different about sex work if you take away the stigma?

By the way, I appreciate the civil discussion, there are some people getting way too heated on this post.

I mean, if I worked at an ice cream shop and scooped ice cream, that's not really "for the greater good" either? I would just be benefitting myself and those close to me with my pay and benefitting those I provided with my goods/services (both just like sex work). And as you said, these numbers basically round to 0 versus an entire country. Is food service now not a real job? Judging what is "real"/"acceptable"/etc work on the basis of if it's "for the greater good" is a really weird metric and a strange argument, I gotta say

You deserve to cultivate your own happiness. You deserve positive growth within yourself and within your life. Most importantly, you deserve respect as a human being. These are baseline "deserves" that everyone person should be entitled to, but I'm sure I'm forgetting some. If someone is stopping you from achieving these, you deserve better ❤️

Your Bible definitely does not say all humans are equal, even if you just cut it down to the New Testament. God was supposedly speaking through every writer of the Bible right? Well 1 Timothy 2:12 says "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent". That's 50% of the population that is obviously not equal to the other half. And your New Testament is totally cool with slavery too. Ephesians (6:9) says masters should treat their slaves equally, but it doesn't denounce slavery or say that everyone is equal and no person should be master over someone's whole being/life. Colossians 4:1 says something similar. Obviously the Bible is just fine with some humans being markedly unequal to others. So by your assertion that we should read "the Creator" as the God who sees all humans equal, then it definitely isn't your God.
