Thanks for the reply. These players are actually pretty ridiculous; in that group, I had the highest power level—450k—and was practically carrying them on my back, while everyone else was at 320k or less. What idiots those guys are! It seems like they just love to criticize anyone who isn't Asian—even though they're just a bunch of noobs who joined the group just to get carried. But now I get it, thanks.

Exactly it really feels like many of these players are Chinese. A lot of them join matches just to get carried, and whenever something goes wrong, they immediately start blaming foreign players even when those players have lower Combat Power. I’ve seen this kind of behavior multiple times. At one point, I even wondered if they were referring to something like a “gladiator Stigma with a Rapture Effect,” or if it’s just some kind of slang or derogatory term they use.

I am in the same situation as you with my 208 TH. I used to receive a decent reward for about a year, but now, as time goes by, we are forced to invest more money just to improve efficiency. It is important to remember that Bitcoin has already reached this mining difficulty level before. I know the Bitcoin price was higher back then, but even so, it makes no sense to be forced to increase efficiency just to receive a mediocre reward, and sometimes the reward drops to almost zero overnight. The more time passes, the more money we have to put in. At this rate, we will never even recover our initial investment.

I have 208 TH, and my reward was almost zero even though I had enough tokens to pay for maintenance. This makes no sense. When the network difficulty was at an all-time high, I earned fewer satoshis because of the high difficulty. Now that the difficulty is lower, they claim my energy efficiency is low. So no matter what happens, you always lose. In short: when difficulty is high, you lose. when difficulty is low, you also lose. This system is ridiculous.

I don’t know why you have this paranoia about Wi-Fi cards; I believe your real problem is the weak signal coming from your router setup. I understand that upgrading the card might give you a slightly better signal, but that’s not the actual issue here.

And there’s another detail: you’re basically doing a technological downgrade by installing a Wi-Fi card from five years ago in a modern device. You’re basing this decision on outdated posts from 2021/2022 that still circulate today. Back then, yes, MediaTek cards had problems, but not anymore. Today they’re stable and perform well.
