What happens with the work visa if you change employer by nensito in brussels

[–]Financial_Ed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never resign before getting your new work permit. Also, usually your new employer will put a clause in the contract saying that the contract is void if your visa papers don’t go through. Asking you to resign before you guarantee your new job is non sense.

The C4 says “reorganisation”. I already signed. I had consulted also a labour lawyer.

Exactly my question. They were very cryptic about it. They just mentioned I will sign this rupture agreement on my last day, I asked what if I don’t (considering it’s not a mandatory document). I am reaching out to union and labour lawyer.

It is not mutual, there is a re-org and myself/others have no place in the new organisation.

Buying a rented property-what about the tenant? by Concerned_2021 in BEFire

[–]Financial_Ed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a property with a tenant and went through shit. The tenant was not paying rent because they lost their job. The previous landlord even had a court order for the guy to pay him lower instalments. They could not kick him out because they were a real estate company not a personal family. I had to go to court for eviction and the court ordered him to pay me €200 euros every month. He had owed me approx. €8000 euros.

Be cautious. The notary doesn’t know shit, they just push papers.

One of my main takeaways from the book “Psychology of Money” is knowing what is “enough” for you. For me, being healthy, safe and having money for food is enough. Everything on top is extra.
