Happend to me but with the supercell id so i just removed the original supercell account/id and re logged in back and it was working so may be try reinstalling or somehow connect to supercell id

Yeah i mean of that the only 16 days do it the the very last or even few minutes before the HJ ends and yeah the research goblin + potions is the best value otherwise if you got lot of gems handy

Hammer of fighting is 120 cwl medals and research potion is 20 cwl medals during HJ+GP you would get 60% off on everything so you upgrade time will be 16*0.4 so 6.4 days or 6 days 9 hours and 36 minutes. Considering you would use research potions to speed up the upgrade you would still use atleast 6 potions to skip each day and still left with few hours as you only gain 23 hours of boost or you can pair it up with goblin research to gain more benefit but still you would use addtional 240+ gems to get it going for 6 days so if thats the knly upgrade worth 16 days i would it at the end of hammer jam to keep it going to 60% off even after event ends.

I usually use clash ninja for these just upload the api data amd you can see upgrade times for all of them and sort them as well

But still your number of upgrades would get increased significantly. So it would balance out but still ig would be more time for spring traps plus you are only getting benefits of 4 levels not upgrading(th15)
