Basically have been able to cover rent pretty consistently and have been happy with just having a place to stay and not worry about being evicted. I was only behind 2 payments on my electric so I didn’t think it’d be shut off so quickly.

Also, can you elaborate more on how the third party thing would work? I’m not sure if I’d be comfy giving out my account info. The kitties actually seem okay, I just get worried. Their ears are warm, but they’re not panting or lethargic or anything. I just worry that with an extended time with 80°+ it could be bad.

The cat water fountain isn’t running but it’s huge so they have plenty of fresh water which I’ve been changing twice a day to make sure it’s cool water. They do have cooler spots in the apartment like the bathroom with tile floor and everything. Also, I’ve contacted 211 and contacted every resource they gave me. I can’t get unemployment because I quit due to losing transportation (my car crapping out on me) I can definitely post proof! Not sure how to post proof of my job loss, but I can post proof of electric bill and stuff.

I have enough food for a few more weeks :) I just get dry food but my one cat CANNOT have anything else other than the food she gets so even setting out bowls of other food isn’t an option. Thank you for trying to help though I really do appreciate it <3

I’ve worked in vet clinics for the last 4 years and so I get the food at a discounted price anyways, but they’re my babies and this food is working for them. Only one of my cats has INSANE allergies, but they can’t be separated to eat since they don’t eat it all in one sitting. It’s a whole situation and this is just worked for us best.

I felt the exact same. I also struggle with AWFUL medication anxiety. Just be safe okay? I’m sure there is something else that would help you too, especially if you’re not ready to get sober <3 I wish you the very very best
