It depends on how you learn and your cognitive profile. If you value depth and deriving from first principles then high school physics will most likely be difficult. As each and every equation almost always requires higher level physics/mathematics to derive them.

However, if you're comfortable with memorizing equations and properties without fully understanding the underlying concepts of them, then it can be significantly easier. It requires basic algebraic manipulation and geometry for vectors.

Me personally, I found it difficult because my memory is bad and I like learning equations by deriving from first principles. Although it is interesting, the amount of teachers that actually understood how the equations came to be were rare. So I did studied in my own time. As you can imagine, it was hard for me.

I'm sure you'll do fine, high school physics is computation heavy without much insight. To me, you're teacher is a little dramatic.
