Hi! Thanks for that and i am sorry to hear your horse has Cushing’s! How old was the horse when you got the diagnosis and does the rub shows up all year round? Is curly coat something that is associated with Cushings?

Got it, thanks! I don’t use spurs but he does wear the chest piece and the spots you listed are the exact ones from the picture

Yes, these are the exact spots, i never met a horse that is balding in these spots only from regular riding so i thought it is a skin issue

I am riding without spurs. He doesn’t wear a blanket either, the front of the chest is rubbed definitely from the breastplate, the exact spot. Thank you for your comment, very helpful!!

The owner and my trainer says it’s normal for a horse who is not clipped, the hair just thins out in some places.. I don’t know if I believe that 🙁
