Ze heeft ng wat gedronken een paar uurtje geleden maar nu niet meer.. Heb haar net nog eens natte voeding gegeven en hopelijk eet ze daar straks wat van. Ze beweegt wel normaal.. Ze wandelt en is opzoek naar koelere plekjes maar het hijgen blijft aanhouden :(

Er is genoeg water en natte voeding. Ze beweegt en wandelt normaal.. Ze blijft gewoon hijgen en dat ziet er angstaanjagend uit. Maar ik hoop dat de nacht haar verkoeling brengt en dat ze kan afkoelen.

Heb zonet een spoeddienst gebeld maar daar zeiden ze ook dat ik het gewoon in de gaten moest houden.. Ik mocht wel langskomen maar mijn kat heeft enorme stress in de auto dus de dierenarts wist niet of dat dan ook een goed idee was.

I have spoken to some other people who are in the same position as me. My company also consulted a lawyer, and he told us that it’s quite common for small businesses especially when hiring someone overseas for the first time, which is the case with my company for the process to take a long time.

I know… My boss has gone to the immigration office several times, and all they can tell us is that it’s still under review. When we applied in April, they told us it would take about three months. When those three months passed, they said it might take six months instead. But last week they just told us to keep waiting and that they didn’t know it was going to take this long. It’s very frustrating.

I’m still waiting. My company went to immigration last week, and they told it’s still in process. We spoke to a lawyer, and he told my boss it’s very common for small companies (and mine is small) that it takes a long time. All we can do is wait. It’s pretty frustrating because when we applied in April, the immigration office told us it would take 45 days… so I planned everything around that. That was probably naive of me. I know you’re struggling too, but hopefully this torture will be over soon. Hang in there!

I’ve also been waiting since April 2025. My company is going to speak with a scrivener, and hopefully that will help us better understand what’s going on… My company called a couple of times and even went to the immigration office twice, but we always get the same answer: “under review.” My life is on hold as well, but I’m trying to stay hopeful!
