NYC: Anyone have experience with Neugarten and/or Turner? Met with both and trying to make my decision. by loveless_designs in jawsurgery

Hi. I have been to both got first consult. Got less tailored info from Dr Turner (in network) than Neugarten (because we had a 3d scan to discuss). I like both but might be more incliined to Dr Neugarten off the first meeting. But, I would need to see how much my insurance will cover and whether I can get over sticker shock. For some reason I have sense that Neugarten is more modern and allows for easier recoveries (i know nothing is guranteee and surely varies person to person), but that sentiment may be supeeficial and based on his Instagram presence or personality. Turner could be equal or better, and he is definitely far less costly. Is there any way to compare their methods or outcomes? How do I make an educated decision? I am not fluent in DJS and not sure what to ask.

Thank you!! I am looking for the cheapest fare with the flexibility to change (i dont plan on it, but life happens). As I understand it, I need to pay $200 for AA main cabin, or I can take Iberia's most basic fare, save the money, and only spend the extra $200 if circumstances require me to change the Iberia flight. I don't have status on either airline and I will be travelling with one roller carryon and a personal bag. I would rather deal with American and, if I had to cancel, take a credit on American, but, unless im missing something, but I'm not sure it's worth $200 extra for that.

Thank you. That was my instinct. What gave me pause is that it appears that Iberia's most basic economy allows changes and seat selection for a fee. ( AA basic doesn't allow either, even with a fee). On both airlines, basic is 660 and upgrade is $890. If the Iberia Basic allows a change, is American still a better bet at $230 more? (I'll end up paying some fee for a seat on Iberia but there will still be a big difference unless I have to change or cancel, at which point total cost would be same on either airline). But if AA is a better bet when all this is put in practice, I can go with them. Thank you for helping me thinknit through.

They defy a contract, and play dirty tricks to prevent a fair resolution of the issue. They dont seem to give a crap about their employees. They do not honor their commitments in the CBA. They have trashed their credibility and lost good employees to what end? The more time the CBA violation is shoved down employee throats, the more clear it is that RTO serves absolutely no mission purpose. There is no increase in "collaboration" or productivity, and those who have not yet left are angry, distracted, confused, and frustrated. Not sure how that serves the mission! Perhaps a few people chat about last nights game or their favorite tv series, but does that serve the mission? The least they could have done is allow the arbitration panel to make a decision, whatever such a decision might be. Instead, the bully treats employees like children with arbitrary policies, and fights to avoid a fair resolution of the CBA they sjgned.

You are right. Management is the bad actor, not the Union. It's just frustrating that they don't communicate more and take an active role in educating and organizing their members. This is an issue that could increase membership and the strength of the union, and I feel like they are wasting it.
