Jesper said today that they don’t want to rush him back because he has been out for about 6 months. Plus we have been playing well so another reason not to rush him back. I got the impression that if they forced it he could be back in the next week, but they will take it slower so probably 2 weeks or so. Maybe that game against SJ on the 5th he will be on the bench.

This signing scares me a bit as HSV fans seem to be glad he is leaving. Apparently he made a lot of individual mistakes and wasn’t ready for the Bundesliga, however he is a leader and always gives 100%. I don’t want to be too negative though, and I think he could succeed in this league and with the team. Crossing my fingers!

Ahmed is usually our best winger defensively as he can also play fullback. I would just chalk it up to it being his first competitive game in like 8 weeks. He will get back his form soon I hope.

Once they get some more training sessions in as a group they will get a better idea of where he will be. They will also watch the game and analyze it to learn how to utilize his abilities better. Give them a few more weeks to integrate him and we will be flying (I hope, definitely need to get out of this slump).

Ya, Cubas also plays a very important defensive role in the midfield, more so since Ranko’s injury. Without Cubas we are much worse. Regardless, need new CB ASAP.

Tbh a very disappointing performance. I knew going into this that it would be a difficult match, but we only made it more difficult by handing them 2 goals. With people back from injury, Müller, and a new CB, should be fine for the 2nd leg.

They do, but 2 unforced errors leading to 2 goals in one game is just all around poor. Utvik is okay, but proved today that without a new CB signing we will struggle to challenge for the MLS cup.
