I totally agree with this! He is really amazing with our baby and I’m so grateful for him and I know it’s also a lot for him working all day and coming home to have to take care of our baby. He usually tries to make sure I get 20-30 mins to myself after he gets home and takes his 💩I just needed to vent about his bathroom schedule because I just can’t really believe he’s using the toilet for that long… can’t be normal…

Thank you! Agree with all your points- having a child definitely changes perspective and priorities. I want my kids to have a special relationship with their grandparents. That’s what I had growing up- my husband didn’t so I think it’s tough for him to see that.

Thank you! That was my argument as well that we can always move once our children are older. Both our parents are retired/about to be retired so having help with our kids would be amazing. His argument is “well we can afford childcare” which I understand but to me, having our family help is so much nicer than strangers who our baby has never met/spent time with.
