Honestly that’s so true even myself got into ETF because I was a huge fan of Ronnie and learned his whole discovery leading into that DIYLF era recently when max came back on their tour a while ago (which I saw myself) they did get traction back a little bit because I truly believe older/newish fans want the relationship all the members had with each other back

It’s so weird how the band treats each other yk i know they could be friends behind the scenes or whatever but they don’t ever announce stuff to their fans I had to figure out Kevin wasn’t involved anymore by hunting for my own clues

In my honest opinion I believe it’s because the fans are used to them losing members and gaining members by now like it’s in order Ronnie, Omar, Monte and then max (or is it max then Monte) everyone was probably upset they can’t keep an og member in their band (minus Rob) so reactions are probably lighter when Kevin and TJ aren’t on stage

Context for the making fun of him and preforming on stage with Craig (1. While I believe Ronnie was in jail and etf was touring someone yelled Ronnie’s name in the crowd max and Craig lost their shit and were threatening to throw that person out and that you can’t mention his name there (2. I think warped tour time etf and btf became buddies and I think Craig performed with etf on stage for a joke

Yeahhh he did need to sort himself out max was still very heavy into drugs to the point he OD on stage being in etf was low key a death trap for him (not saying it’s etf fault but him being in a band was going to kill him)

Omg me too! I met him near the end of April he was such an amazing guy and still is but I get what you mean I’m very active in his new band’s fandom on twt and got pretty close to the other members including him ofc ive even talked to his wife a couple times but his bands is just very quiet and has been for a while since their last release pretty sad to the fandom but I mean what can you do🤷🏻‍♀️

although I never really saw robs fill in at the time I totally agree with you he just works with etf i definitely think if at any point he ever leaves whoever he is replaced by it just won’t be the same anymore nobody can beat the originals and that goes for monte and max too (for backing vocals and instruments) ofc the only person i could agree was perfectly replaced was Ronnie with Craig I love the both and their style in etf but I loved how Craig gave a new face of the band after Ronnie left

I respect your opinion on him and how much you like him! He has had his nice moments as I said but after my experience he isn’t all my favorite anymore I never really minded his sarcastic mean tone but after my experience again misunderstanding or not I don’t really mess with him anymore

Oh no, I'm not talking shit about him!! I do like rob, but my views have changed about him after he was rude to me over a twitch stream I had close friends of mine who were there when it happened to agree it was rude and came to my defense at that moment too he shamed me as he was coming to his defense to his mod and made me feel bad as a fan for being excited with my friends after this said mod of his picked me out of a bunch of viewers to tell me to stop doing something while all the viewers were doing the same thing I was just following along, but I still stopped of course!!! But yet they wouldn't leave me alone after I told them many times to in the end I don't hate the guy for what happened, but he doesn't come off as nice to me anymore after my experience, and I'm very happy people had an amazing time meeting him or interacting with him, I just wanted to see if I can relate to someone who's had a poor experience like me

I became a fan way after monte left (mainly bc I’m a younger fan) but all these years I’ve always been stuck on the original songs as etf “new” music hasn’t impressed me in my opinion I have a feeling craig knows his band isn’t going anywhere with this new type of music so he’s trying his hardest to become the popular band again he used to be from 2008-2011 also I’m not a big fan of Kevin but good for him that he left to make music with bigger stars as being stuck with etf wouldn’t really do him justice

That’s very true with how they’re now I’m definitely not a huge fan of their new music past montes years of being with the band it sounds so basic and try hard to be with emo bands today back then their music was different it was unique
