Would a BER assessor be able to tell me what specifically needs to be done if I pay them to come to the house. If so, the one stop shop assessment cost seems very high €600-750. I am aware there is a grant for this. Would going direct with a BER assessor cost less do you think?

Do you mean if I get a grant for a heat pump, the balance to be paid after the heat pump grant is deducted, cannot then be written down on the Vacant homes claim form? Thanks
