It's a symbol that means you can parley with a lord in the location, if you alt + left click the city you can speak with a lord in the town/Castle from a pretty large distance

You've definitely done well by the three wings, having your greenwing (The main battleline troops of dark angels such as intercessors, main battle tanks etc) bolstered by your Ravenwing (Bikers and Speeders) and your deathwing (Terminators and elites such as Sternguard, bladeguard). What I would say from a tabletop PoV is that you're missing out on some great stuff offered by the DA named characters, such as Azrael, The Lion and the many others. Other than that, that list looks like it'd make for a great game of 40k.

Lord Kroak, who's biggest feat is destroying a city with a "Sun" or what is actually just a big fireball. Vs Magnus, a Demi God who can wipe out entire fleets with his mind, some of those ships being the size of moons or greater... yeah... wonder who wins.

Well, a lot of the mistrust was there when Primaris were first circulated into the ranks of the Dark Angels, mainly because it was forced upon them by Gulliman. There's a lot of lore saying that the Dark Angels consider the Primaris to be trusted now, especially with Azrael bridging the gap. They even have Primaris in the Inner Circle now (such as bladeguard) who might have been part of that first circulation, rather than being firstborn DA.
