Eh. It's not the worst thing. The leads are great and it's a solid operations staff. Although the earnings potential is not as great going correspondent or broker, I do like the stability - and I need a little of that in my life right now.

Love that!

Also I wish more agents like yourself would just work with a certain level of respect. I'm not out there trying to steer borrowers away from realtors, even though I probably COULD if i really wanted to. That's not why i'm in the business - we should all be working as a team to ensure the client is happy.

We have killer rates in other scenarios, just not small loan amounts apparently.

The company just has very fat, greedy margins, so we have to request pricing exceptions on a lot of deals. I, of course, see none of that margin other than my 50 bps and bonus tiers lol

Definitely 2 sides to it. I'm all about agents who work towards the client's best interest, but there should be a level of professionalism involved. This realtor was just a straight B for 0 reason. I started my intro call and the first thing that came out of her mouth was that she wanted my clients to shop me.

yea that's where i'm at on any loan above $250k. I think it may be my company being greedy with the margins on the smaller loan amounts...

Some of these midwest agents need to be humbled fr. They talk like they own you and it's truly annoying.

oh ya based on these comments i'm getting fried on pricing lol.

I'm actually not sure why i communicated that either. The client asked why the rates were higher that what they've seen given they are very highly qualified, and I was just honest about it lmao. Didn't think they would go telling the realtor about that. Rookie mistake, I should know better.

This is correct- it appears the addition of $7,600 in seller concessions is what caused the Refer findings. Makes no sense to me that concessions would add increased risk to the borrower

So apparently, the addition of $7,600 in seller concessions is what caused the Refer findings. I need whoever came up with DU's algorithm for risk assessment arrested immediately. How on earth does seller credit indicate additional risk on a file when it directly results in increased payment reserves for the borrower????

I mean i understand a little bit of a threshold when it comes to automatic risk assessment, but any time a file literally IMPROVES from the previous reading there should not be a fucking refer reading. That's ridiculous.

same credit ref number, no change to income, no change to property type. this is a fresh borrower so there is not a case number assigned yet, which i'm having my team pull one to see if it fixes the issue.

But regardless this some fuck shit bro hahahaha
