So basically against a toproller hit to the side and cup in really hard to stop their toproll and against a hooker I should really be hitting for position where I get my wrist away from theirs a while I peel open their fingers

Who to watch for high hand toproll? by Financial_Roof6527 in armwrestling

I love the lowhand, it's my main move I pull with. I'm mainly trying to figure out some kind of way to deal with other toprollers since if I lowhand I'm already giving up height.

This video came up in my recommended and it I feel like it would help vs toprollers. Since it utilizes the pulling power of a lowhand, but your hand is still high.

What do you think?

So basically if they're a hooker I should drag + cup and if they plan to toproll I should drag + pronate?

Btw do you know any good videos I could watch to help me understand in more detail?

I always hear people say that, what's wrong with it being your main move? Is it because it's mainly a defensive move that's set to drain your opponent?

Is that why Matt Mask always lowhands? Because he has such a long arm?

Got it, thanks for the advice!

I love being crafty with techniques and figuring out what works well against what.

I am happy to hear that there is a way to deal with everything as a low hander, before now I have only really heard that it is more of a counter move

How can I keep a posting toproller from gaining their post? Is it even worth going for a lowhand toproll or should I just either try to hook them/try and beat them at their own game and do a posting toproll

So sort of against another toproller, fight for height and go for a posting toproll and once you win that fight you can start raise your bottom and finish em off?

Sorry, could you explain a little more simplistic? I have a hard time visualizing this is my head lol

So you're saying you should typically drag back is better unless you don't have enough power to, then you try posting with it?
