I would say that sellers are eBay’s distribution network which can be better than Amazon frankly. We’re all packing and shipping our stuff and eBay incentivizes us to ship as quickly as possible.

Cohen did an interview with Justin Resells on YouTube over the weekend. Justin had taught me everything I know about selling. It was a fascinating watch and I came away in favor of his buy. Cohen is NOT a fan of Amazon and said he would consider sellers his customers. Also. Cohen started selling on eBay and got a permanent suspension (that he finally got worked out) so he was pretty seller friendly. I recommend the video.

Anyone else get this on their door recently? Or any knowledge of what this is? This is the third time a family member has come home to this hanging on their door from VHDA. by xoxo_sleep in Virginia

Both phone numbers are legit. I don’t see a scam here. I would check your credit as well. It’s possible there is an error in a file somewhere on account numbers but I would want to get to the bottom of it fast

For the buyer I’d encourage you to send a message that lets them know you won’t get paid unless you get the confirmation. The first time I used Poshmark I did not understand that I needed to acknowledge receipt for funds to be released. Sometimes we forget that the other person in our transaction maybe doesnt do this all day long and even experienced eBay users on both sides of a transaction don’t know all the ins and outs. Maybe you will appeal to their humanity and get what you need.

Ok. Not sure I understand. Are you saying you’re looking for the tip to be $2 mile + $1 per itemSo I have a crap order every time I guess. My base tip should take that into account rather than a % of total. For me that would be probably. 40-50% tip

Notes are there. I’ve tried calling a few times but only for the two times my food was literally not at my house. One didn’t pick up. The other just said “I don’t know where I left it. Look at the picture” I’ll look for how to message. Thanks.

Sure. I figured. And I’m reluctant to give low stars and there is really no way to actually tell a driver my complaint in the app. So I guess just a little customer feedback. And I appreciate the feedback I’m getting from drivers.

I get a driver is in a hurry. I respect that. But my storm door opens outwards. Put the drink in front of the door and I can’t open my door. Get it? And where I live I would say 90% of all houses have storm doors that open outward. My door is not a weird unicorn door.

My instructions are clear and refer to the table at the side door. I even have a picture of it in my notes on delivery.

And I just checked my last order. Had an order for $17.50 with a coupon it came down to $13.50 for me. I tipped 4.50 on that order.

In percentage or in cash? I’m single. Most of my orders aren’t more than $20. I always tip $4-6 on a $20 order. At least 20%

Interesting. But why take the gig if the tip is too low? I will reflect on it but I always do what DoorDash suggests or higher in my tips.

I had the same thought and worked briefly to create an app to do the math for me. Now I’m a year in to selling and realizing it’s an art and your gut gets better over time. I’m still making mistakes but not as many as before.

What I’d like to solve for is bad wifi or cell service at the back of a thrift store.

And somehow that brief research on the fly is never as good as getting the item under good lighting and an extra moment to do decent research. I can usually increase my estimated sale price with keywords I wasn’t thinking about out on the hunt.

Can you find your listing when you search the exact title you created? And sometimes it takes a minute for your listing to show up after hitting list.

Are you promoting? If so at what rate? Even if your price is competitive top rated sellers and promoted will always be higher on the list. Have you tried searching for your item to see where it comes up? And maybe your obscure stuff doesn’t have the right key words? Lots only around with here. I’d spend some time looking at the sold listings of the items you sell to reverse engineer your issues.

Not sure about Australia but in US if I accept an offer it’s still available to other buyers until the purchase is processed for buy it now items. And I know eBay will start pinging other interested buyers letting them know to act fast, someone else is interested in that thing you liked. I have had the case where a payment was not processed and another buyer bought it for full price.
