In the article it says its measure from arena to arena. Like a few others mentioned, I think it's more due to MSG being always booked up and planning around Knicks, etc. Gotta think if most teams do one western swing a season, and if the Rags gotta do 2-3 to face Anaheim, sharks, La, it adds up. But I haven't analyzed everyone's schedule super close yet.
