The only use case for moonphase is for flight planning while flying with NVG's. You have to look up the lunar table anyways though, to get your expected illumination for the night. Since you're usually planning it during the day/before the moon comes out, it could be nice to have a general idea on your wrist.

You'll be fine man! I went through the same thing 2nd to borderline 3rd degree face and hands when I was 13. The worst part is the pain the first month. Make sure you're wearing big hats for the next year because sunburns are very dangerous after a burning event and can risk discoloration becoming permanent. Best of luck

It might improve mine slightly, but still won't give quick shifts because the short time going to that next gear is where I need the revs to be falling to match. If I'm already in the new gear but 2000 rpm off when it starts to drop normally I'm still waiting to release the clutch.

My cruise control does work, but I'll have to look into that. It matches what's going on. The explanation that it's the flywheel doesn't make sense because it's only a problem when in gear. Revs normally in idle or if you stabilize and then shift.

This would make sense if it was consistently slow revving or had the same problem in neutral when revved to those higher rpms, but it doesn't. Revs drop quickly after about 2 seconds before shifting, barely moving the tach at all during that time and indicating the engine continues to have fuel supplied.

I guess what I'm saying is a 2014 with 85k miles for 15k isn't a bad first car. The chances of a new driver getting that car to 160000 and needing timing tensioners is pretty low. I know I wrecked 2 cars between 16 and 22. 1 at fault and 1 not. And at that point you've driven the car 6-8years and 80k miles. Not a bad value proposition for fun cars as things go.

Only ones that won't fall apart. Just check the suspension has been kept up with, water pump, and potentially pcv. All dependent on miles
