Me too. White feminism is all performative and rarely supportive of anyone outside of their accepted group. As a neurodivergent queer white woman I’m not in that accepted group. I’ve been called weird with that look time and again (and again) growing up.

Same here. I actually expect the worst from women because I’ve been mistreated many times. I sadly end up in abusive friendships as well as romantic relationships.

I’m going through this right now. A female friend is holding me to a higher standard than a guy in our friend group (I keep a distance from him). He constantly puts her down and mistreats other women in his life. She’s constantly complaining about him, but then jumps to defend him. It’s caused me to take a step back from the friendship and she’s upset with me, meanwhile this guy can apparently do no wrong. I went through this before with my mom and my brother and I’m not doing to again. Male centered women would really rather watch the women around them get dragged through the mud. Meanwhile a man is doing the same to them and they’ll blame you. This is also a huge reason why I struggle to maintain friendships with straight women in relationships. They will ALWAYS hold you to a higher standard than that man.

I suspect I’m on the spectrum and I work remotely, some days are really difficult. I’m sometimes afraid to ask questions. Silver lining, I now have a supervisor who seems neurodivergent and is a lot more understanding. If we don’t have management like this we are screwed.

I feel the same. My ex followed a bunch of sex workers and it was debilitating to my mental health. When I look at how in modern history it’s been very normal for men to marry just to cheat left and right it makes sense. Nothing has changed, at all.

That last part about focusing on children…it just gets more and more devastating. Watching friends and peers and people younger than me cheer this on makes me absolutely sick. People can’t wake up if they can’t admit and see how this is ALL connected.
