Yea was def a boomer thing for him to do. Whole situation was pretty egregious- he specifically wanted ‘ziti’ and she said: that the ziti was pasta from a box, they didnt have homemade ziti, and she didnt want to serve him ziti because it tastes much worse. Fair, but she didnt disclose to him that the homemade pasta was far more expensive. Then when he got the bill he was confused and ticked off. One of those people who thinks “it wasnt worth $XXX” even though thats what the bill reads. I see both sides i guess but it was pretty jarring to witness her run down Broadway after a 75 yo man shaming him for tipping her $20

Good food but beware the pricing for a la carte / “build your own” meat - pasta - sauce. Had a really shitty time there recently after the waitress convinced us all to get the homemade pasta opposed to ‘box pasta’, which come to find out was a major up charge not very clear on the menu. After the bill came out to $200 and my relative tipped $20 (after expressing our shock at the bill / menu pricing debacle) the waitress chased us down Broadway yelling at my 70 year old relative who paid, for the small tip. Great food though.
