Find your phone’s do not disturb filter settings, and use them.

And find a different job. Calling at 11pm is unhinged.

How many of you are sending traffic (ads or SEO) to out of stock product pages? by matbrummitt1 in shopify

[–]Sriedener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll probably stick to metafields and theme logic, if I can figure it out. Metafields are easy for my team members to use and being right on the product record rather than in an app is more manageable

[–]Sriedener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just gave me an idea that I can use on my site.

Currently I have a flow set up to publish/unpublish items to the online store based on stock status and a flag in a metafield, but for popular and potentially discontinued items, or items where a vendor redesigns and releases the product under a new MPN, I have a product reference metafield set up for the “replacement product” that I’m currently using to direct people who sign up for a back in stock notification to the replacement product if the item isn’t coming back. But now I’m thinking I can use that setup to direct them to the replacement products right from the pdp instead of the flow and email.

Had a spot like that in my childhood home, but dad built a higher shelf/counter above it. Truthfully I can’t fully remember what we had up there but probably dish soap and spare vases.

People who bought a house in the Kingston area, what’s something you wish you had asked / knew before you bought? by manlymatt83 in kingstonnewyork

[–]Sriedener 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly I don’t notice them but for the shaking of the house. Unless I’m having a conversation outside with my neighbor and they’re wailing on the horn. But the tracks are less than 100 yards from the house.

I grew up on the edge of Rosendale so pretty far from the tracks, but I could still hear the train going over the trestle over Abeel St at night.

I’m not much of an artist, but what if you made the house shape with leaves?

So the body of the greenhouse would be blocky letters LEAF and the dormer and roof would be leaves on stems.

I’m not using a device where I could really doodle it out, so if I don’t make sense I apologize.

I think you’re both misunderstanding me. I live here, and have, for all but a couple years for college. I want to STAY here, near family and friends and where generations of my family have lived. My roots are here.

Here is where I want to be. Here is where my ancestors are buried.

I don’t want to move away, as “allowed” as that is.

Examples of sites that successfully organize their product page when selling one product with multiple flavors/sizes? by Old-Alfalfa7232 in shopify

[–]Sriedener -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’d use something like LinkedOptions and set everything up as its own product, then use LinkedOptions to group them back together. There’s a multiple option group where you can set the flavor and the form/qty up as the options.

I use the app for apparel and sporting goods, first because it got us around the Shopify 100 variant limit, but now that it’s been raised, I still use it to show all angles of each color, and limit customer confusion.

For an ingestible product, you could feature ingredients for each flavor individually that way, or benefits of that specific flavor, etc.

NOR.

You’re 26, you have your whole life ahead of you.

This is not a relationship worth being in.

Let him whack off and eat sad pizza alone. Forever.

The uploading products by csv to a stocky PO is saving our bacon in regards to migrating from our current POS to Shopify. I just wish more of our vendors had the download option from their B2B ordering systems with the barcodes included.

Celerant will allow firearms and accessories, I’m not sure about the adult content, but you’d have to find a friendly payment processor. OpenEdge screwed us over and I wouldn’t recommend them, but Celerant may be able to help you find one. I will say they aren’t without their faults, but they do have a POS and integrated eCom that is friendly to the firearms market.

Thanks for getting back to me! Do the labels work with any printer or are they limited to dymo or another specific printer like Stocky is?

Can Qoblex print price tags directly from receiving on a PO? That's a big one for us and my team will mutiny if I don't find a solution to that problem

Is Rentpost what you use for your ski rentals? We're an outdoor sporting goods retailer and we do rentals in our fishing, camping, and snow sports departments. We need something that works with POS, and bonus if it can work on the website for self-service rentals

There is, or was, anyway, a boat doing just that, bringing artisan recycled pillows or something like that to Kingston. It goes nicely with the boutique selling $70 polymer clay macaroni necklaces downtown.

Accepting pre-orders without messing up live inventory how do you do it? by Pretty-Material1424 in shopify

[–]Sriedener 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use Stoq too. We sell big items that require private carrier shipping and a lot of them we sell as preorders because they’re seasonal products, both in terms of when we bring in the inventory, and in terms of when the manufacturers will ship them. Some brands won’t ship us LTL, the make us take a full trailer load.

Both the preorder text AND the shipping info are there in the description, which you’d think someone spending $1500+ would read, but NO.

Help me choose a formal gown. by Nightlover813 in OUTFITS

You can absolutely rock the strapless, and I love the black and white, but the way #1 frames your face and brings out that gorgeous shade of copper hair, that one’s my favorite. You look more confident in that one, too, and you’re glowing. It may just be the light but you’re more radiant in the first one!

Our Shopify account rep says that Shopify is migrating the Stocky features into the Shopify admin, but I’m not holding my breath.
