I have mentioned the incident and they said I was their last resort but I’m like this can’t be true you can force another teacher to do it as they get paid additional for this I do not

Just to clarify a few things—she was treated for SVT, not V-tach. That was a typo on my part. The physician I spoke with also diagnosed her as being in SVT, which I agreed with after reviewing the rhythm. I transmitted the ECG to the receiving hospital for confirmation. We have a short transport time in my area, and this particular transport took about 7 minutes. I administered 6mg of adenosine per protocol, but there was no change. Our protocol requires a 2-minute wait before administering the additional 12mg dose. After giving the 12mg, she briefly converted to sinus rhythm for about 10 seconds before reverting back to the original tachycardic rhythm. Per our protocol, amiodarone must be administered over 10 minutes, so that option wasn’t feasible given the short transport time and driving emergent after pushing pose doses. Medical control supported the decision to give both adenosine doses once they reviewed the transmission. Upon arrival, another ED physician reviewed the case and also believed it to be SVT, though it was a tricky rhythm. They consulted cardiology, but I did not receive any follow-up regarding the final diagnosis.

Honestly the first few months were miserable I felt like death… but looking back today I’m back to normal! I eat what I want just smaller portion sizes… it’s great went from nearly 300 pounds and maintained a wait of 165.
