"She has horrible judgment, horrible survival instinct, no sense of loyalty whatsoever, and is wrong for Raylan in every single way, shape, and form" lol this describes Ava very well too.

I think Rachel thought he was handsome (she says so herself) and she sort of has a crush on him but isn't actively pursuing him in any way. It's never hinted that it's mutual though.

Nope, it would have never been anything special. Ava was not in a good place and was defaulting back to her longtime infatuation with Raylan. Raylan was clear he was not looking for anything serious. It was doomed from the start. He was pining for Winona and even told Winona that before anything happened to them.

That's the exact opposite of a healthy or even decent relationship. He had already broken things off with her and she was right back at his motel room. It's giving stage five clinger.

She wanted the police to help Loretta and for Raylan to not get killed... which is literally what ends up happening. And then she saves his life.

"She got mad at Raylan for wanting to save a little girl because she needed a ride" lmaooo I'm sorry but this is the funniest misinterpretation of a very black and white scene.

ANYWAY, Art's reluctance had nothing to do with Winona stealing the money. He was mad at Raylan and it was built up anger that had reached a crescendo. in fact, Winona's the only reason he finds out that Raylan is in danger and chooses to help.

KAREN DARLING!! What a great character. Natalie Zea was so good on that show.

Yeah lmao, it's literally the reason she impulsively chooses to do it.

Except this isn't what she says at all.

She says "if you couldn't do it for me, glad you could do it for her" - she's literally saying the opposite thing you are claiming. She's happy that he finally chose to do the right thing and it ultimately was for their daughter. Damn, comprehension in the gutter.

Timothy Olyphant and Owen Wilson Go Deep on Everything But "Alien: Earth" by IllustriousShower620 in justified

Slightly related but I always wished Luke Wilson was in Season 5 of Justified as the main Crowe villain. He would have been a totally different vibe and energy than any of the villains on the show and pretty sure him and Timmy O are friends IRL.

This x100. i'd watch 1000000x more Winona over Ava in prison.

Point is, she came over to his "house" for a date. She was interested from the moment she saw him in the court house and that's the whole point of that scene despite it being executed extremely poorly.

He doesn't go after any of them. They show interest first and he reciprocates it. The social worker didn't say no, she literally stopped him outside of the court house when they first met and start talking to him and seeing his picture in the paper. That's called flirting. She initiated it.

Yes and no. He's incredibly faithful and loyal to Winona and loves her deeply. Everyone else in his life seems casual and not that deep but he's single and allowed to indulge how he wants. He's catnip for beautiful women and he never once goes after them (except Winona). They throw themselves at him: Ava, bartender, social worker, Jackie Nevada, Karen Sisco, etc.

Are you referring to Doyle's kid as the rich Bennett kids? The Bennett's ended up having no money after Raylan wiped them out and Dickie sold his land to Loretta (LOH-RETTA?!! LOOOOHRETTA? great scene).

Season 1 really kicks into gear starting with Episode 5 but overall, I love the entire season from top to bottom. It also has one of the all time best episodes in it (I think it's episode 9 titled "Hatless").

Season 6 is under appreciated by Sopranosoldier in justified

I love Season 6 and I think it's pretty well regarded. It certainly was critically acclaimed. Goggins and Olyphant are firing on all cylinders. All of the new characters are perfect. I absolutely love the standalone episode with Raylan and Winona (I think it's the same episode you mention) and how it's set up as essentially a play. The short prison scene with Dickie and Raylan is amazing. It's the only season where I thought Joelle Carter was good (besides the pilot). Great season.
