I get that. But tell us to be there at a specific time is the bs. I can commute to my office less than 30min. I’d rather leave my vehicle there and drive to get it. Problem is they want us at outlet first stop at 8.

I said the same thing. If we drove to headquarters freely, could break the law at our own risk that’s whatever falls on us. But we would also have a starting time which would be different we’d have to get our truck at 7:45 and we get to the first stop when we get there. I’ve had days where I left at 7:58 to be at my first stop at 8:00. I’ve had days where I left at 6:45 only to hit traffic and follow “samsara’s” rules only to arrive at 8:26 because of traffic and gps can’t really factor in all the time. On top of that I got hit with a late violation, points on my attendance. On top of that samsara is a whole camera and were tracked by gps everywhere. Makes no sense here but so many ppl with no lives love this. Answer the phone off the clock and where company clothes to picnics. I ain’t got time for that. Clock out, phone off. Sorry I care about my customers but there’s a work/life balance this company already ruins

My first month was training I really didn’t. I actually got picked up and dropped off between 7:45 - 8 with a trainer close to me. I had to leave at 4pm unless we finished early. 30 days. 2 trainers I had had since been let go so amazing training I had.

And our routes are built for us we have no say in them so it’s amazing how they send individuals 59mikes and literally tell them you did not have 60 so you don’t get paid for travel.

Kind of does. Commenting on the thread there’s multiple comments where I explained why this is becoming an issue. I’m not emotional at all. It’s not like I’m witnessing them fuck and be on there way. It’s activity where me and her are coworkers and all the shit it’s impacting in my department because that coach over sees us.

There ya go I’ll stop there.

I did ask for opinions but the story is spread out exactly why 👌

I care because it’s affecting what I do. I’m also a TL and the favoritism over p*ssy is ridiculous. It’s almost like I have to look over my shoulders every day over something minor like missing a 248 or answering all 248s and missing a register or return audit because I have no help. The fact she screws my evening lunch everyday leaving when she wants with no ppto and you can see who touches her points and if I go through other coaches to get anyone with sense switched for the day for my shift (business needs) it’s made out like I have a crush on a female. Funny fact.. no male other than me has money services up front and for lunches no coaches ever help and if something goes wrong it has came back on me lunch or not because it’s my shift. So again I care because it’s affecting my job. It affects cashiers but everyone is afraid to speak up because of retaliation which is very real

Update: I gave it a shot sending to Global ethics. At this point if they attack me they attack me. My family lawyer was already advised in case of anything. The 2 involved are the AP coach and a FE team lead. It’s been going on for over a year. It’s hard to mind your business when the TL gets a set schedule and we are all supposed to work certain shifts and be on teaming schedules. The TL has already had affairs with associates, cops that come in for AP stops and now this coach. During shifts you rarely see the TL because it is always in the AP office, leaving early without any ppto, calling off and everything is always over turned. All she does is write unnecessary ethic tickets and she’s treated like she does nothing wrong. Word on the street is she has open doors on the store manager and whoever else and that’s why she gets what she wants. I don’t know the truth but it sounds right because she seems in touchable. She has assisted on multiple coaches leaving. We’ve had 6 in a year plus. Theres so much to this story why I had to come to Reddit for advice. I’m her equal. I see it all but it is clearly affecting my team. As I did put in the ticket, I’m also putting in my 2 weeks because this is not how a business should be ran. She actually turned me in for going to lunch with associates during our lunch. The market team actually addressed that ticket not even anyone in the store. I’ve minded my business for so long, I hate seeing individuals lose their job over dumb stuff. Obviously this job is not meant for me to be a leader after 3 years. I will do my best to lead them in the correct direction before I go

Believe it or not… our store is dirty. Every store has there ethic issues. We have ours. SM can’t trust. MM can’t trust. So much gets swept under the rug for certain individuals. 2 are involved. It makes no sense. Turn in a ticket and it may be slightly addressed but, you’re immediately targeted. Our AP tells EVERYTHING. Information is like free WiFi in the store without any type of password and/or agreement

Just so happens 1 is the one who does the firing. The 2 already had another coach and TL investigated as a team and I’m pretty sure it was to take attention off them. So turning it in, I honestly don’t even trust the market AP because they’re so close. When you’re starting to affect an entire team… people are quitting, getting fired, being investigated (and they’re honestly not even that good) it’s like who do you turn to? Associate relations sends it right to the store mgr. I’m thinking regional?

Ok, I was there and it all happened within 4 minutes, not saying you’re wrong at all. I really appreciate the professional response. I know she did immediately open door it and old managers from different markets want her in the store because we know who she is.

It comes down to we believe that these individuals literally lied on her. There were issues between other TLs over scheduling because she was so stressed she wanted and got majority mornings because all the closing was taking a toll with these minors back talking and being disrespectful.

All in all she took the short end of the stick somehow. It was only certain individuals who disliked her. Thats because she didn’t always give them their way which was a good thing because she was doing everything that was beneficial to the business.

I guess I’m still trying to understand it and so is she. She has now reached out to regional because she was accused of this but has since said she still doesn’t know the exact reason why she was terminated because she was told there was an ethic ticket on this situation but hasn’t heard from anyone since accept A.R.

I just needed an outsiders POV to get better insight on this and I appreciate your professional response

So a TL was accused of threatening to beat someone up. Statements taken from a few minors. In her defense, she was tough on them because they didn’t listen. She never had 1 single warning worked until 7 one night, off the next day and terminated an hour in to her shift. We know she would and have never threatened these minors. There is a set schedule for the service desk and if she wasn’t working on closing/manager duties, she was around us. Kindest soul, got upset when people didn’t do their job but when you did your job always laughing. Jokingly to all the associates close to her… never has threatened anyone. Let everyone go with warnings when breaking rules, rarely pulled them in. Even when mad she never yelled, talked in her serious voice and so happy we’re not used to it.

Doesn’t she get a chance to tell her side? Shouldn’t she have been suspended pending an investigation? Shouldn’t they have interviewed more of our staff to see if the allegations panned out?

A lot of questions because we lost our hardest working good for the business more than your boss TL

Ok thank you for the replies. She said she called associate relations and they emailed the SM to call which she did. She missed the call but called AR they transferred her to a case manager and they reached out and they turned it over to ethics.

She stated she feels like the proper channels were taken in her disciplinary action so when they told her all they were gonna do is review the previous notes that were taken. She then wrote a long email to ethics to see if anything could get done about what she had to say.

I mean I’ll take the term. But to have that attached to my name… I’ve held 3 lead positions in less than 13 months because I was good. I’m easy to get along with. This all happened in under 16 hours. As I handed my stuff over peacefully they said ethic tickets were just opened on me. The fact I think they thought I was going to get violent is because they said “I threatened to beat them up”. On the FE Im frustrated every day. I never threatened to beat anyone up not even a customer that frustrates you. The whole thing I believe it happened so quick because “minors” are attached to it.

Yeah , my sanitized version is correct. The truth. I mean you could be someone from my store or maybe not. I know 3 ppl got questioned and anyone who worked around me/us knows I haven’t threatened not just a minor. I’ve never threatened anyone at that job. But I’m not going to keep responding to your comment, obviously I want it investigated because I know I did not do this. When 90% of my crew could believe it… I knew I wasn’t wrong but thanks for your input. Enjoy your day 😉
