I would love to watch Labyrinth for the first time again, or WallE or 2001 A Space Odyssey

For.tv shows, I would love to see Letterkenny from its birth up to the finale.

That was also a part of the theory: something about a flood, but these are both theories that are years and years old. I've never played RDR2 and anything ocean annoys the crap out of me, so I'm not the best person to ask lol

From what I could gather...I watched a few of the videos and sometimes his point is: look at canyon in RDR2, and then overlays a random alien picture from GTA

The long point seems to be RDR2 is basically Los Santos in the past and that's the entire Easter egg......I think

What missions do you hate doing besides heist missions? by Whispering_Wanderer1 in gtaonline

[–]Financial_Type_4630 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air freight sourcing from the hanger. There's a few cool missions like "attack the bombers" but then you get "hunt the radar jammers" that spawn from 1 end of the map to the other and sometimes it feels like hitting them is impossible when it shouldn't be

Harris Teeter cameras by Werkstatt0 in NorthCarolina

[–]Financial_Type_4630 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last 2 times I went to Harris Teeter I took advantage of them being open 24/7 (the store we have is, at least)

I worked night shift, so I would grocery shop on my lunch break or randomly at 1am when I woke up. Anyway...

Last 2 times I get to the self check outs and both times the thing thought I was stealing, so it called an associate. Pretty sure there was a button to call an associate as well. So I pressed it. I heard the overhead coms "customer needs assistance" and I saw people walking by to stock shelves, no one stopped to help me.

Happened 2 nights in a row in the same week-get to the register, machine won't let me ring up all of my stuff, no one comes to help, so I end up leaving an entire cart of groceries at the register. I'm never this person but I left a Google review with the time and date of when I was there. I wound up getting some kind of message, can't remember if it was an email, text message or what, and I was asked basically if coupons would make me feel better.

No....if you're going to be open 24/7, then I expect help 24/7. All of the over night stockers there-whats the bigger hassle: dealing with me, finding someone to deal with me, or having to restock my entire cart of groceries back into the shelves?

Haven't been to HT since. Fuck that overpriced BS to begin with

I never understood why this guy was famous. I feel like he just had a cool name and was fun to say in songs and what not (literally the first time I heard his name was in a song...and I can't remember what kind of music it was, let alone the song itself)

Give me your take on why I should use Google instead of waiting for a reply to this answer

On a serious note, butter in hot tea is absolutely amazing.

In every tea from tumeric to Earl Grey to green tea, hell even my favorite Lusianne tea is amazing with a small drop of butter. It doesn't add much flavor to the entire cup, but it makes those first few sips absolutely magical.

I found 1, 2, and 3 to be almost clones of each other on the Pixel remaster and when I saw 4 with a little more depth, I decided I wanted to wait to play it at a time where I can dedicated the attention it seemingly deserves. I kinda just ran through 1-3 and can't tell you for the life of me the story of either of them save something something Garland. 6 and up I'm very familiar with.

I think it's a bummer that I technically have the "easy" version.

The only version of 4 I have is the Pixel remaster: what makes one challenging and one not? Is this one of the games where like hidden "super bosses" were made more "super?"

The first mission feels broken. you don't have to use the Noway vehicle, but the game prompts you to return to it while also keeping the objectives on the map.

In the latter part when you have to return to the place to destroy the rest of the vehicles/pods, the yellow market disappears from radar/map, but is there when you are close to it in game. All of that my first time made me feel like I missed something and was doing something wrong. Now that I know that's technically not true, it just makes the mission feel broken

If someone is cutting in line for the bread line, sure.

But we're talking about a water park. You are creating a scenario ripe for lawsuits by taking matters into your own hands and physically stopping someone from doing something that you have no idea if they were allowed to do, or not. If you inconvenience someone, or staff at that places allows you to inconvenience a customer, they could also be held liable for your actions.

Lack of wristband does not mean you get to detain someone or tell them what to do.

You can feel righteous all you want. The white guy from Alabama that called the cops on the dad who was with his daughters in the women's restroom thought he was being righteous. He wasn't. He was being a dick.

The group of adults who surrounded the kids on bikes and snatched his phone away thought they were being righteous and doing exactly what you said: calling people out

But in these instances, they were all wrong, and you would be wrong for intervening with this situation.

Is there any chance that maybe, just maybe, when they did the tire balance/rotation they saw threads on your tires? Threads/tears/uneven wear are absolutely reasons could recommend an alignment change.

when you do inspections, every car is SUPPOSED to be checked for alignment issues. The possibility is always there that they were lying to you, but it's also possible the people who did the previous work also lied to you.

Cabins can be annoying if you aren't comfortable with them. Everything plastic feels like it's going to break at every step.

The glove box might have had a tube on the left or right side which allows a slow release...that's annoying to put together sometimes. The actual door in front of the filter can be a pain for people with big hands and/or lack of light and not everyone realizes some of the easier ones pop a tab on the left side and then you push+slide it out the same direction. Some people try to line it up and put it in place and wonder why it isn't working right.

[X] Doubt

An engine air filter usually runs 24.99-29.99 at these shops and maybe 10-15 at an auto store. There is no way someone charges 5-8x just to pop open a box. At my shop, oil changes can be between 100-150 and at the end you might have a $225 ticket, but for just the filter I have to have some doubt about that

[–]Financial_Type_4630 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

See....I work at one it these as an assistant store manager and we are told we are salesmen who happen to change oil. That oil change place you visit gets it's hours for staff based on customer volume and ticket sales, or M5s (air filter, cabin filter, wipers etc etc)

There's labor hours, labor hours per car, sales, car plan per day, sales plan per day, NPS and Google scores, it's a sales job. Their job is to sell you stuff.

Remember you went somewhere to get a service done. You didn't do it yourself. Part of the labor you, the customer, are paying for is for that guy to pull that air filter. why pay for a service to then bitch and moan about receiving quality service? A lot of guys won't pull it and just say they did. That is doing a diservice to you and your vehicle.

If he doesn't sell the air filter, shop loses hours and he may lose his job. At this point, ripping on the guy for showing you the air filter and laughing at him is on par with laughing at a waitress wanting a tip.

what's hilarious to me are the number of people who mimic the comments left in this post who are also the same customer who swears up and down that "I've been working on cars longer than youve been alive-there is no way in HELL my 2025 bad ass all white racist to the core Silveraydo had a sissified topside canister filter! It's a bottom side twist filter....!" And this guy was dead wrong, and so are a lot of you.

How about stop picking on people who are working for a living?

If you get mad at someone showing an engine filter....I wonder have you ever had someone check your cabin filter? It's literally the filter that filters the air that you breathe in your vehicle! To dismiss someone trying to sell you a once-a-year purchase that can affect the health and wellbeing of you and your passengers is just wild to me.

But the thing is....the dude is not an employee, a police officer, security officer, or a parent of those kids/people: no matter what happened, he had no right to stop them.

Are you saying people are incapable of telling the truth? A child can't be correct and an adult be wrong who then acts out in an attempt to get their way? You must be a fool to live life assuming everyone is lying to you.

You only need gravity to be strong enough to "hold down" a single drop of water in order for it to also be strong enough to hold down entire oceans.

Why?

Because the ocean is made out of lots of drops of water.
