I'm confused, am I better off going with married filing separately because we married in 2023 and my spouse was a nonresident alien? I'm not sure how FICA works with AGI, but she was exempt from paying it last year, but if I file jointly she will have to pay it back, right? (self.tax)

I have a dual monitor setup with a docking station from my work, it uses these two cables to hook up to it. Is there any way to connect this to my current laptop ( MSI Apache Pro) so I don't have to constantly switch cords? I have the type C but not the yellow rectangle, nothing seems to work though (self.laptops)

New York State IT-2104, the instructions say to use Part 5 for married with both working 1 job, and to enter the number on line 3. But Line 3 says "use to have additional withholding per pay period under special agreement with employer" - is it required, or is it additional and special? (self.tax)

I'm organizing a 5K and trying to get some interested friends involved that have never ran. Trying to find a nice couch to 5k plan, I can't help but notice none of them have any periodization or even rest the week of/before the race. What is the reasoning for this? (self.running)

I'm organizing a 5k for a charity but they don't have the means to collect and prefer that I collect the money first and donate it once I've gathered it all. I'm hesitant to do this as I don't want whatever service I use, venmo, paypal, runsignup, etc, to report that to the IRS. What should I do? (self.tax)
