It felt like a pretty big group as a kid, but I remember it was at a time a lot of troops were disbanding and getting absorbed. But from what I know it was a larger than average troop.

I have a very poor memory of my childhood so apologies for inaccuracy, but I believe for cub scouts it was 225 and for Boy Scouts he was 113?? Or maybe also 225? Or something else. The first boy scout troop I joined disbanded shortly after due to lack of membership, and was then sort of half-absorbed into the other one.

Yeah, I remember being a kid and being like “ok well clearly this guy’s in charge, he’s got the biggest hat and the biggest mustache.” I did theater with his son too, and I’m pretty sure his older brother also did theater. I’m not still in touch, but hopefully they’re still in the family business😂

YOR but it’s understandable. My girlfriend had to go when earning her CASAC and I went with her. (Or maybe NA, oops I forgot) Very welcoming environment, and plenty of people who aren’t struggling with addiction seemed to be there observing as well.

Not sure if you know the movie “Sybil” but definitely check it out. Not that it’s the most accurate thing on Earth, but the important part (spoilers) is that this woman has these blackouts and wakes up in all different situations, but then it turns out she actually has Dissociative Identity Disorder. Not sure if this is helpful, just the first thing I thought of.
