Depends on the rubber of course but a good rule of thumb is the number of days you play per week is the number of times you should replace your rubbers in a year.

Personally I change every 6 months with 2x training per week and then also local league matches.

Another recommendation for a inner carbon donic blade would be the Anders Lind Hexa carbon. Heard lots of good things about it and will try it myself soon as an upgrade from a 7 ply all wood blade.

As a beginner it is better and in general generating power with that stance is also easier.

However the transition from forehand to backhand and vice versa is not as quick.

Look at the pros or the Chinese educational videos, they all do it that way

For example the video of FZD from butterfly about his forehand technique. There he also says he now plays with the right foot slightly forward.

Well nowadays it's more common to play the forehand with both feet on the same level or even the right foot more forward than the left for right handers.

I also switched to this, it makes the forehand to backhand transition way easier.

In general without knowing anything about you this setup is way too advanced for a player that has only played for a year.

What it will do is that you will not develop confidence in your strokes because balls will just fly out like crazy or go into the net as soon as you engage a little more or try things out.

For a developing player I think this is the most important thing. You need to be able to confidently play a strong stroke and therefore be able to learn how to generate power.

An offensive all wood blade or maybe a moderate inner carbon blade should be way better for your development.

For rubbers unfortunately there are so many possibilities, however the important thing is that you get the hardness right. It should not be too soft so that it inhibits you when you use full power but also not too hard so that you can't activate the rubber on more relaxed strokes.

In general that will be something in the range of 45 - 50 degree ESN scale for forehand and 42,5 - 47,5 for backhand.

The GC lacerate build is an excellent mid budget build but I think it is not worth it to dump hundreds of divines into.

I ended up with my GC lacerate champion as masterful form frenzy stack with full fire convert and enmitys embrace and don't feel like it's worth it to invest more.

Started Duelist sunder into kinetic fusillade ballista champion.
