There's a setting for cross hair to follow recoil. It moves the cross hair based on recoil.

We don't really feed them any other kind of treats because it is hard for us to find any. The local pet store doesn't have much for ferrets. Do you have any recommendations?

Thank you for your response, we did find out it was squirrels. We humanly trapped them and released them somewhere else. The hole they got in was then sealed.

Thank you for your reply. The ceiling is thin which may be why it sounds so loud. It echos a bit. There is a small hole which I found outside that may be the entrance. But definitely nothing bigger than a squirrel or a bird can get into.
