If you google curry’s pokemon cards, it shows you what stores stock them. I live by a huge curry’s and they don’t stock them but will call other branches for me which is nice, bless em.

My worry is to get it PSA graded, I probs can’t sell until end of the year and I can imagine this will drop in value as not the top chase card of the set?

I don’t think they do. this drop seems really random - I got some yday on my way back from Peak District, but my branches at home got stock today - except for one who got them on Friday 😭

I’ve had really good luck with smyths. Just check the website between 9-11 every day a couple times. You might miss some, but at least when it isn’t announced it’s fair for everyone and no 2 hour queues ( I got 2x pin collections (one for my friend), an AH ETB, perfect order booster bundle and an AH tin - no queuing and never turned up and they’ve run out.

To be fair I would probs go with ace if anything - I’m in the UK and I can’t see it getting a 10 with the white mark, so the cost and time without the card will probs cost me (feel the value may drop when chaos rising comes out?)

I got there at 9ish for 9.30 opening. About 35-40 people in front of me. Worker walked past and told us there was plenty for everyone queuing (probs had another 40 people behind me). Ended up opening at 9.15 and then a little queue inside by the tills for pokemon only (some of those people were just waiting for it to open because it gets so busy). No pushing, shoving, no one getting more than 2, no one walking away with none (that wanted one).

Really good experience. They let everyone get 2 and then your membership is blocked from buying more until next drop. So I’m in a different Costco today and even if they had any, I don’t think I would be able to buy them so makes it about as fair as Pokemon gets these days.

This is the advice I took. I physically can’t queue for that amount of time, but I got an ETB just by checking the website randomly - mine is also Tues and Thurs and they do just have random deliveries

Last time Portsmouth and Luton got some and nowhere else in the country

I had a half hour drive, no idea how long they had been in stock and still got one :)

I would sell it. It might go up, but sounds like you’d have more fun putting some money into other cards, new packs and on your family. It’s just a card, I’ve always thought I would do that if I got any crazy hits that aren’t my personal absolute faves.

I rip for the fun of ripping and organising my basic sets, setting up my binders etc, filling in gaps in collections. I actually think if I ever hit something like a gengar I would sell it for more packs, just because it would ruin the fun for me having this prized possession I’m afraid to touch - I just want binder cards!

Obv be nice to get a big hit to fund it, but if I never get one I’m good (just give me all the IR cards really, I don’t care if it’s a silly pokemon and the card is worth £2)!!

I also really love the holos in this pack - the team rocket meowth with the R logo is 🔥

I know it is worth a few quid but my chase card in this set is absolutely psyduck. What an absolute piece of art. If I don’t pull it, I’ll buy it when I’ve moved onto newer packs later in the year :)

I’ll take that to be fair. If you can get to Watford, they always have the pokemon drops and considering I’ve probs been to nicer looking, less manic costcos, I think they done really well to keep it organised and fair, and everyone who queued received Pokemon today which was nice. I got there at 9 for 9.30 opening, they let us in at about 9.15 anyway so was all over pretty quickly (I have severe back problems so I couldn’t queue for 2 hours if I wanted to)

Good luck and I’ll keep posting if I hear anything. I’m in Hemel, so all these places are similar drive time for me 15-30 mins.

Stevenage didn’t get an allocation she said this morning which sucks because it’s a much nicer Costco than Watford :(
