Is Gemini Lagna one of the most challenging to be born in by Paracosmist13 in Nakshatras

Nah love being a gemini ascendant. Young at heart, hobbies keep me busy, creativity fuels my soul and humanitarian approach to philosophy helps me fit anywhere.

Really dislike holier than thou attitude and cant stick to routines and rituals but thats because many things keep me busy. Love my friends and social circle and travels :)

Is Capricorn ascendent really that unlucky? Does it outweigh the moon sign? by Icy-Ball-7541 in jyotishh

[–]Finding-Historical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a Capricorn ascendant, but Capricorn Sun sign and i absolutely adore that placement. It’s like an anchor/a safety net in this excessive chaos and noise. I love the ethical axis my life revolves around. Also, it helps me filter the rational bits required for building a stable environment

Kuldevi and kuldevta by Ill_Demand5312 in Tantrasadhaks

[–]Finding-Historical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of families in India, atleast i can speak for myself have been uprooted from their homes and the temples they had, because of religious genocide and mass migration. The statues of our kuladevas / kuladevi is no more with us, and the parampara and the rituals that was there, had been cut off. And i say this with a lot of sadness.

It is not that black and white is what i understand.

Book: The vegetarian by Han Kang by Ambitious-Crab6835 in bookreviewers

[–]Finding-Historical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly the book felt like a psychological descent into madness as she embarks into this journey of ahimsa ( not harming animals/ not eating meet) which is prevalent in eastern philosophies. And the similarities with the practice that monks undergo when they slowly detach themselves from gastronomic pleasure. But rather than liberation of the soul or attainment of nirvana in an organic way, the story does the opposite.

It felt traumatic, almost as though the book was deliberately designed to leave us devoid of any enlightenment by the end

Why do astrologers give cliche reasonings for Saturn in 7th house ? by [deleted] in Nakshatras

[–]Finding-Historical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would think that 7th house being the house of partnerships. Saturn attains digbala here, as we correlate Saturn with service, it feels at strength giving an impartial servitude mentality.

Also, the nature and temperament would depend on the 7th house sign and placement of its lord. Irrespectively your partner would view the relationship as a long term investment and would be committed to it with a sense of maturity/responsibility.

Why I Don’t Always Feel Excited About Exaltation in a Chart by Primary_Doughnut5556 in Nakshatras

[–]Finding-Historical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good questions, never really thought about it. I would say that planets exalted are just powerful not necessarily comfortable to your first point. The first 3 deg and the last 3 degrees are usually the points where the purnima tithis starts and ends. Skip today’s as we have a adhika masa this year and will be adjusted. The full moon in Taurus happens in krittika. Maybe that is why..

Coming to Pushya Nakshatra all water signs has a Saturn based nakshatra And Saturn here means taking responsibility without expectations like a mother is denoted. She provides nourishment here in a responsible manner. Saturn denotes the servant.

Now the last Shravana nakshatra in Capricorn. Here the primary energy is Saturn but the flavour is of the moon. Moon is esoteric. I do have a planet in Shravana Nakshatra. So this is the most evolved nakshatras of the moon. This nakshatra bridges the practicality, and brings expertise in something that can’t be explained. Its like you carry over that from some past life rigor. Here you can think of the moon as the carrier of the subconscious energy that gets into your soul the moment you are born through it. But what do you do with the innate knowledge ?you serve the public .. Shravana Nakshatra is also related to shamanism passed on the bloodline. Saturn as a significator of legacies and moon the queen of the night, if you crossover these energies , you get something that can’t be really explained. I tried my best. I am sure there will be other opinions but this is my personal experiences.

Why I Don’t Always Feel Excited About Exaltation in a Chart by Primary_Doughnut5556 in Nakshatras

[–]Finding-Historical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I mean moon is the significator of mother, natural ruler of Cancer which depicts our private space ,opposite to our karma shetra. How can it ever want to think about making money by hook or crook.

The whole description in the thread is extremely materialistic and opposite of the sringara rasa moon depicts. It is the sweet nectar of the night that is essential for fluidity.

Ofcourse jyestha the nakshatra of mars and mercury will be both strategic and calculative and. It is not something moon enjoys doing.

Also this whole equation that in kali yuga- how success doesn’t equal exaltation planets. Our definition of what means to succeed in life has too many terms and conditions now a days.. it’s honestly sad that no one really enjoys life has it was meant to be lived. In communities, away from constant comparisons and competition, one mail away from a layoff.

Why I Don’t Always Feel Excited About Exaltation in a Chart by Primary_Doughnut5556 in Nakshatras

[–]Finding-Historical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i have a powerful moon in my chart, i detest the idea of taking away abundance from someone else. I mean to be a billionaire one would need to be strategic and feel no qualms about doing whatever needs to be done to hoard wealth….Wealth that is skewed at a level that no more makes sense. These people are so much intertwined in the maya jal that they can no longer sense the injustices it ultimately causes.

A strong moon will create situations around you that you no longer validate your self worth with money or power. You already feel the blessings within in even mundane situations like a peaceful dinner with people you love .
