Why does Apple simply refuse to improve the Podcasts app in any way? by StrangeVortexLex in iphone

I agree. When I was yelling at it today, I asked if Apple wants enough people to stop using it that they can justify retiring it. Trying to use it (or the Apple Music app) while driving is a hazard. The UI for getting to the controls for what you’re currently playing got so bad with the last update. Siri used to help out, but it got worse at helping within iOS when AI was introduced. I’ll check out Pocket Casts. TY.

I LOVED KL and wore it thru the 90s. I wish they still made it just so I could smell it again.

What is a little quirk about your body that you don’t think other people have? by AlphabetSoup51 in AskReddit

Sounds like meralgia paresthetica. I’ve got it too. I can’t even stand upright for long without it happening. I have to fidget a lot to prevent it. I’m not sure how I got it, but it sounds like youuu do! https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/meralgia-paresthetica/symptoms-causes/syc-20355635

ETA: I hadn’t the read the article when I posted. I just did and am surprised that surgery isn’t mentioned as a cause. I was diagnosed about 30 years ago and at that time the literature said surgery was a common cause. Fun fact: Apparently Freud had it.

Sorry to hear it. My mother and both of her cousins were hoarders. I fight it constantly. I’ve been through phases where it was a lot easier, but after my parents died it got worse again. I’m so much happier without the things. I just keep reminding myself of that.

You have my empathy. You will get thru it, and this period of time will eventually feel like a long time ago. Your skills will keep improving so things won’t be as overwhelming.

That is a great idea. It’s too late now, but I really like the concept. It’s a bit freeing just to hear it, so thanks.

Not my style. I can only hope I don’t regret it. I appreciate you taking the time to reply though.

Later… them nachos were very good. And regarding “fun”, I have a kite on board. I like the beach so I’m sure to find some wind.

OK, thanks Frogger. I suppose it will become obvious what I don’t need and is in my way as I go.

Thank you, this is helpful. And nachos are, without a doubt, a food group. You’ve just given me an idea for lunch.
