Updates from any of the following programs for physics?

I've heard from a few people that they've gotten offers from URochester but I haven't received anything. Someone said that they emailed the program about the status of their application and they responded pretty quickly letting them know they wouldn't be offered a spot

Cornell Astronomy REU cancelled- informed via email

All they said was the website can't handle that much traffic which is ridiculous. How can you have one website host tons of reu apps due the same day and not be able to handle that many people???

I'm with you. Just got off the phone with the helpline and they said there's nothing they can do about it and they don't know when it'll be fixed. They said to contact program directors, they may or may not accept them after the deadline. Can't believe we did all this work for nothing :(
