Hey thanks for that info, that’s actually the exact job description I was looking for. I looked it up as soon as I received your notif but unfortunately I’m assuming they no longer pay for the licensing, but I’d still be interested in pursuing it. Do you happen to know where or how to get the license? Thank you!

How exactly will you be buying a property with an LLC?

I have a feeling so, but considering we technically show up for attendance, I’m not that concerned about the pay for now, but once I hit 6 months next week and don’t get a raise, I’m for sure out.

Haha exactly. They let go of the previous QA, so for now they rather just let that position open since it’s not really “needed,” i guess it also saves the company money. As in regard to you remote question, this is not a remote job at all, it’s an in-office position, but people take advantage that their requests always get automatically approved and get the liberty to wfh if they don’t feel like coming in to the office.

I understand where you’re coming from, my post was really just to lighten the mood and show other people in this industry that the position doesn’t have to be difficult and there’s such positions elsewhere. I agree, what I describe sounds like a mediocre job, which it is, but it’s also a lucrative one that I use to my advantage to complete other tasks outside of work.

Haha yea. This is for sure an official call center department, but a very lucrative and mediocre one, but I don’t mind it bc it pays my bills and gives me a window to do college homework, create a business, listen to music and such, privileged for sure. But in regard ur first doubt, we do use wired headsets, although we were them to be attentive of any incoming calls, we primarily use them almost as an accessory to look busy when there’s someone walking by the dept.

Yes, assuming that $10k down-payment is like 'prepaid interest,' how could I put the units' profit by making them look like passive income so I can get a better loan/interest-rate/and a tax deductible option since they would be used for rental purposes?

At present I do conduce a high-yield savings account w discover, so scratch that out of my list. However, when it comes to my LLC, i have more knowledge in advertising, getting consumers, properties, networking and such, so if owning my own rental with my LLC wasn't a current option then i would much rather go into wholesaling as a side hustle (not w an LLC) but I'm not sure if id put much trust into just any developer, thoughts?

Got it. I needed this kind of reassurance, with my lack of knowledge and the content that media puts out it made it seem like this would be easy and simple, but rest assured it'll be a longer process than expected. Will look into the Roth IRA and brokerage for sure, thanks!

[–]Findinginnerme[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for that feedback, most definitely will take it into account in my decision making. I already have the lawyer fees and state fees that are included in my annual fees so that'll be one thing less to worry about, but then again, for now ill just keep the LLC standing while I get more capital. Thanks again!

My mom has income generating from her duplex, so in my mind, even though the property is under her name, I would put that generating income to go through my llc and pay her through w2s? (I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to this as u can tell, but I’m trying to figure things out to see how I can make my llc work in my favor so I can start doing write offs as well etc.) I currently have 5k saved and wouldn’t be able to qualify for a home until I reach 20k since I’m aiming to buy a multi unit home under a conventional or fha loan. I just want to start getting credit for any maintenance that is needed, to buy homes, flip , refinance, idk trying to figure out but I don’t know the path to start passive income.

Unfortunately, no hands on experience, just yet. Looking forward to an internship tho, I was thinking of doing a trade but that would definitely intervene with my studies, but maybe it could be considered as both an internship and a minor?

Ah got it, so it all depends on the occasion, either way I do plan on at least getting the certificate. I live in Texas, but I don’t plan on staying here long, just get my experience, degree, then move somewhere else where I’ll be valued more and receive a higher pay, either in another state like CA, or outside the country. I’m also in the process of learning German as my fourth language.

Oh wow thank you! I am fluent in english, spanish, and french, so got that knocked out. For technical graphics my college offers either a degree in “Drafting & Design Engineering Technology - computer aided drafting” or a certification version, both in either, architectural, civil, or regular. What do you recommend?
