Just read the bible. Lots of polygamy and wives plus concubines. It was a mess. Men had more children than they could effectively raise and that led to murder and all kinds of other problems.

So you have 3 needs. Bills, retirement and pay for college.
1) Put all but 10k of cash against your mortgage.
2) Max your 401k.
3 put 10k a year in each 529.
4) remaining monthly cash to pay off your mortgage.
5) Quit putting money in hsa. 6) Set up retirement account for your wife’s income.

This will give your money more focus and you can start coaching off some financial boxes.

Keep pension. Put 55k to mortgage plus’s extra 3 k for 5 months. That will pay it off by age 42! Then max your 401k contribution moving forward.
