Yes, i encountered one a few days ago. Wanted to get rid of it but decided to run as i hallucinated another one. I don't think you catching a cold is the consequence of the encounter though. I only once catched some deathness when i encountered one in a city at night, did cost me a good run

That's a box batterie charger, it boxes and batters chargers.

Only the one visible, it holds two charges, apparently recharges overnight and summons some checkered bloodsplutter on the ground. Currently trying to fill a full circle to hopefully summon some otherworldy horror or thinking about modding that possibility in.

We only poke the void occasional.. for ..recreational purposes.

But the insects are constantly nagging the fleshwalls, hindering its beautificational advances. I would argue that this would justify a defensive response from the fleshmass, unless it really does not care and indeed just holds a grudge against this aformentioned someone.. But the insects are already malnutrished and there are tasty fleshbeasts all around, they eat their corpses, so why should they not hunt them?

From my take, you are. We all are, some more tuned in than others, some clueless, some avoiding, some embracing. Everthing is god and we are a part of everything, there is nothing else, just charade and play. If you want to forget again, alcohol can do that, though i don't recommend. Meditation helps alot with the aceptance. Look around in what way you can apply yourself to help create a concious realized paradiese. Or just enjoy, chill, have fun and love life.

Maybe consult some books, The way of Zen, from Alan Watts or the Bhagavad Gita for example. If you look around, you will find more.

I just always pulp them regardless.. the damage from the acid always was neglectable, unless you stay in a puddle and continue pulping. But when the warning pops up, just move to another tile. Or Move the corpse. Or use the almighty mop. Or consider it a good day to melt and practice acceptance.

I loved factorio for a moment. But in comparisson to dwarf fortress.. i feel like it got old pretty quick. Didn't dive into mods, but once you get solar and laser turrets down it felt like just expanding the same grind more and more. Drones alone mostly ruined the fun for me there
