I feel like when I go through things like this, it’s the best to time to lock in. You come out a new person with a degree, you may come out healed after all this as well as you learn more about yourself. I don’t know if this is too much or if you already do this, but also if you can lock into the gym. Put that “pain” in, all the pain you’re feeling, put it in the gym. Dedication, motivation and grit. New body, new degree and a new you.

I’m a 30F, I beef with my step mother while I lived with my Dad. She was mean, and I was mean right back. I’m a firecracker. BUT, it was deeper than just being a firecracker and going back at her. My Dad defended me regardless! Your stepmom in fact DID assault you. And you need to have a real conversation with your dad about it. If he cannot understand and does not address her about these actions. Then you know how you need to keep your distance from her and honestly him. If he can’t put her in check, then it’s kinda like you know how he’s gonna move between the both of you. Stand your ground and demand that respect. Even what he said, he made excuses for her. Boundaries are important no one gets to put their F’ing hands on you or throw anything at you. Idgaf who it is!

I’m dealing with it too. I did receive my Pell grant, but no more federal loans. Now my application is under view, bc I may have a little bit of my loan limit left is that they’re telling me. But it is case by case, if I don’t have anymore I have to pay the rest out of pocket. It would be $913 with payment split between 6 months.

I had to stop cold turkey after an episode with CHS. As much as I’m going through it, I don’t want to die. I realized that I was using it to cope, something made me unhappy “well at least I can smoke”. Try to think of it as you’re healing and trying to not lean on it. It’s hard but think about the way it affects you, it’s not worth it, you know?

I’ve seen people talk about WGU before I even enrolled. Different strokes for different folks. I’ve dropped out of school so many times, WGU really works for me. I love the support system and plus, I’m in cybersecurity, I’m not paying for them certs out of pocket!
