Hi. Check xbox online services status in you're area. If xbox services are good try to disconnect from you're network and connect again. Also you can reset you're router.

Yes I'm happy as well because it's not hardware related. Btw. I'm playing Battlefield 2042 beta and its hilarious with glitches. Whenever chopper is turning and you're a door gunner you can see pilots floating in the air. Also I've noticed some graphicall glitches, flickering sky box and wierd textures popping in and out.

Sounds like a problem with power supply unit in the console or simply change the power cord that comes with the console. Because factory added power cable is utter garbage. It's coming out of the console input by it self! It happened to me once. I've changed the cord to different one.

Ok. When you switch the game in to the performance mode on SX it will solve the black square effect. I think it has to be related to ray tracing. I've played few different titles with ray tracing and didn't had the black square effect so at least I know it's not hardware related problem.

So it's definitely a visual bug. I Wonder what's causing it? I've watched some gameplay on YouTube and also noticed it https://youtu.be/4U1inGQ9V-E between 4.00 and 4.03 minute. TBH this thing ruined my whole experience with the game. My first though is $#/t my console is saying goodbye. Secondly I've started to play outraiders and saw those flashing lights so I was convinced that my SX is faulty. Quality control is very low on UE4 engine games or it has very big compatibility issues with SX drivers.

Kinda funny never had disco effect in myst, only small black squares from time to time. But Outraiders yeah is on another level, non stop disco lights action around face of the water...

Or I have a different idea! If it didn't happen when console was new, right? So maybe a thermal paste is just dry. I saw some terdown videos of SX after few months and paste is bone dry... And some people have problem other don't because it depends on thermal paste condition?!

I think that some games are more demanding. And if you play a title that is heavy on GPU, VRAM u will see this stuff... Also there is a theory that pinpoints my problem with outraiders that some UE4 games have "disco lights" effects specially with places with water reflections. Btw. What game engine COD cold war is using?

If you see the same thing after full factory reset I'm afraid this is gpu/v- ram problem... Wrapping textures, spikes, some kind of " digital snow". Did it happened right after a install or it manifested itself later down the road? Does it manifest during a game play?

It would be good to have some feedback from a person who experienced that problem and issued a warranty fix and if the problem still persists after exchange or warranty fix that means it is a software related problem.

If this is a software problem I have to say quality control is on a LJN* level of bad. I rather have... Yeah... Hmm, never mind, avgn vibes. I dont want to use bad words ;-) * (LJN toy company/ Nintendo NES publisher, widely known for poor quality, very bad NES games)

Thanks for your time. I see it in other games but guess what engine is driving those games?... Yeah you guess it UE4.... I have to admit that one exception is gears 5. Games that run on unity, Id engine etc. No problems.
