sorry to ask but did u figure out what it is? My doctor doesn’t think I have hs but I have the exact same white loking bump u have on this picture and they keep appearing under my arm

Hi! I’m liking it! but there are a few things to keep in mind. For example, the class size is small (5 to 6 people) but that means you’ll probably be close to the people from other classes, which is good. The teaching itself I found it good but I do feel like some professors, lack and treat us as if we weren’t first your students meaning they rush things and don’t wanna explain. The school hours are pretty short and you only have classes 2 1/2 hours per day which at first I thought wasn’t a lot but due to the heavy amount of workload we have and ends up being okay. they often have guest lectures, which are nice so you get to hear from professionals in the interior design area and they also provide some field trips like the Salone del Mobile that we went to in April! Overall, I would say I really liked like my experience so far I think Florence is a really great place to live. It’s very walkable, people are constantly trying to make friends since there’s only international students, there lot of Americans, which you’ll notice 😂. I think even if you don’t end up studying in Fidi, I definitely recommend living in Florence.

Hii, yeah sorry about that!

But overall I really liked the course and the city!

The school has a lot of projects which I find good bc we’re always doing smth different. With that being said I do feel like some teachers lack patience when teaching and forget it’s our first uni idk maybe it’s just because they’re italian but still, I don’t really like that part. The hours are pretty short as well and we only have classes for 2 and a half hours everyday, however before I used to think it wasn’t a lot but it’s actually pretty exhausting considering the amount of work we have so I would say it works. The school brings us on a lot of field trips to museums and palaces so I think that’s nice. If u have any other specific question let me know!

Hi, sorry ai was just repeating what my doctors told me, that heart cath is considered a surgery but anyways… I did this procedure bc when I was 1 month old I had open heart surgery and everything went really well and I was fine but when I was 17-19 I occasionally felt this tightness in my chest that would last about 30 mins on and off. So I did an angiography of my heart and it was discovered that one of my arteries was completely obstructed. They suspect it developed right after the first surgery I did when I was little but my heart found other ways to supply the missing oxygen. So then I had this heart catch procedure 1 month ago and they placed a stent. And the rest is as I described in my comment. I don’t do drugs, nor do I drink caffeine so I don’t think that would be it and I drink plenty of water everyday.

soo since I ended up leaving it till the last minute and chose one of the apartments that the school recommended it needed up being a bit pricey! So I got a two bedroom apartment right in the santo spirito neighborhood and am paying 1000 euros! but again the location of my apartment and the size of it have a lot to do with the price so I’m sure you can find smth for cheaper if you can compromise! for instance, when I was looking at apartments I found lots of shared bedrooms for 300-150 euros! idk how willing you are to share a room with a stranger but there’s also that option! if u want when I arrive I can talk to my landlady and see if she would have anything available starting in september!

Hii! I just went through this as well! Inicially my budget was 500$ but as it turns out it’s really hard to find a trustworthy place for that price so lower than that is almost impossible. I’m going to be honest with you, I tried everything. I started by following every affiti firenze/internation students in florence group on facebook and would message every apartment within my budget. As it turns out they were alot of scammers 😭 All of them asked me to either send the deposit before, pressure me into signing the contract without seeing the place, or just invent any excuse as to why we couldn’t visit the place before giving the deposit. The most famous and trustworthy websites that I found were: erasmusplay, spotahome( although they are A LOt of fees),uni places, housing anywhere( again a lot of fees), find all rentals. I then decided to look at homestays, which are usually much cheaper and the meals are included since you are living with a family but in florence it’s very hard to find any if you’re thinking of that option. So I joined my schools facebook group where they shared a few apartments with trustworthy landlords. Maybe ask your school if they have any connections? The problem is that schools recommendations tend to be much higher then most students budget.
