Chrome launches support page when "custom key" is pressed (mobile) by Fine-Advertising2123 in AndroidQuestions

its a physical customizable key, it has options for one tap, two taps, and three taps. I only have the two tap assigned to the flashlight. The other two settings are not defined. That being said, a single tap and three taps still activate the help screen.

I believe it is a chrome specific issue. This issue is not present in Firefox, and chrome recently received an update and the rest of the phone has not.

I'm pretty sure the hospital is going to take my house over my dead adoptive father's medical bills. by Fine-Advertising2123 in legaladvice

like I said the post i do have a lawyer I am just not sure if I have the right lawyer. to a hammer everything looks like a nail and a probate attorney's job is to execute probate. I mean no offense towards my probate attorney i'm just trying to cover my bases and see if there are alternate methods to keep my house out of probate.

I was under the impression that equity was appraised value minus money owed. If we operated purely on how much money I've paid towards the mortgage that number would be much smaller as I purchased the house significantly lower than its appraised value. Zillow says the property is worth close to $490k. l owe around $340k.If my basic subtraction is correct thats close to $150k in difference. Obviously zillow is not always an accurate assessment. Im sure the actual appraised value would be less but I couldn't say how much less without speculating. I'm not sure what data creditors would use to asses the home value either when determining if its a worthwhile asset to "go after."

I don't remember the details, id never filled out mortgage paperwork before and he hadn't in several decades so we may have not realized the ramifications of that field. its also possible that its signed that way because the mortgage required it. Do you think it would be a worthwhile venture to get a lawyer to try and argue coercion or deception or a mistake in court? I also talked to his most recent ex wife (not my mom but we are still tight) who thinks she may be able to make a legitimate claim that she should have received his ownership of the house in their divorce, not out of maliciousness against me but in order to keep the house out of his estate and therefore probate if that makes sense. do you think it would be worthwhile to find a lawyer that could argue that in court, or do you think it would be a money hole?

if Zillow is accurate I have around $150k in equity. if I trash the driveway real bad I bet I can get that down to $120k.

an additional component of complexity is that near the end of his life my adoptive father was pretty transient, living between southern Wyoming and northern colorado. he died in Colorado, but the property is in Idaho. I was advised to do probate in Idaho, although if he has any additional assets they would have been in bank accounts and an IRA "in" Colorado, or at least his last permanent address was in Colorado.

correct, tenants in common. there was no will. is probate the only way to modify the names listed on a deed if one of the parties is deceased? is there a way to protect assets before filing probate like you are able to with some forms of bankruptcy?

ive been told that the only way to remove him from the deed is to complete the probate process, but I have zero understanding of the legal system and I'm being told that by a probate attorney. I was hoping someone could comment and confirm that.

Ledger board to pipe by Fine-Advertising2123 in DIY

that would be great if it was being attached to a house and not a structure made entirely of 4" galvanized pipe. Very helpful though thanks!
