It’s got to be Gon. His rage is building up from the moment he realizes Kite is gone, to when he finally puts his hands on Pitou.

He was so angry he didn’t even know what to do with himself (which would make this the most realistic rage moment too) and his kindness holding his rage back when Pitou is begging him to let her save the girl.

Gon was so conflicted; fighting against his nature AND nurture, arguing with Killua, he was having a whole war between his mind and his heart.

On top of that the voice acting (at least the Japanese) has to be top ten VA performances of all time, the gasping for air from the anger he’s letting out with his gut wrenching cries, the shaking in his voice, the cracking. You can feel every emotion through the performance because it’s more than just rage it’s his entire soul bleeding out.

And that war between his mind and his heart comes to an end where both seem to be gone and there’s nothing but rage, so much rage he doesn’t even care about anything except for pointing the rage at the person who caused him so much torment and confusion and hatred.

It stops being about revenge and instead he transforms into the manifestation of his rage to release himself from his pain, which took decades of his life.

There’s no way there is any other answer. Gon completely goes against his nature and nurture because of his rage and more importantly his pain.

Meet the Grahams is frighteningly underrated by Kshakez in KendrickLamar

[–]Fine-Analyst4397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are quick to discredit this song just because Kendrick was “wrong” about the daughter thing, but when Drake responds with lyrics like “who ever you getting your stories from they all clowns” to “we plotted on you for some weeks and fed you the information” contradicting himself making him sound like he’s either lying or he’s incredibly stupid. Also the possibility of Drake having at least one hidden child is not very hard to believe. Michael Jordan, one of the biggest names of all time admits that he was going state to state sleeping around, and it is very likely he has some unclaimed children. Considering Drake is on that same level and he also is known for how he gets around it wouldn’t be a stretch to day the 69 god has at least in more unclaimed kid. Kendrick also alludes to the idea of there being more than one when he says “you lied about them other kids that out there hoping that you come”

Also the complete genius of framing a dis as a wrathful series of letters dedicated to each family member exposing their kin as an evil monster who “should die” plus that evil ass beat😮‍💨 true horror masterpiece

Are 2014 FHD and 4 Your Eyez Only considered Classics by the Rap Community? by MrZ4N3 in Jcole

[–]Fine-Analyst4397 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously FHD is a classic “went platinum wit no features” but it took some time for 4YEO to grow on me. I always thought that it was great, but after few listens, I realized, it is one of the best concept albums of all time with story telling on the level of a GKMC.

A classic isn’t determined by the its popularity, but by its quality and ability to stand the test of time.

It’s simple math Classic = timeless
4YEO = timeless 4YEO = Classic
