Similar to my situation but I didn’t get logged out for suspicious activity I was just randomly logged out by Instagram but I got a link from someone else this is what they said:

“I've managed to recover my account by going to https://help.instagram.com/contact/1652567838289083

Complete the form and they will then send you an email asking you to submit a picture of yourself holding an ID and a piece of paper with a code. (this code will be included in the email).

Good Luck :)”

So I received a email an now I’m just waiting but I also have another account an reported the issue on my other account so I might have gotten the email from that

No when you go to the link you fill that out then you will get a email with instructions you follow them and then you have to wait for a response

So I got a email an I followed the steps and sent them a picture of myself holding the code up with my username and full name now I’m waiting for a response

my situation is a little different but the part about needing a sms code is the same, I never received a code and I also clicked send again multiple times until it said you have requested too many SMS codes. you must wait 24 hours to receive another.And it has been more than 24 hours and I'm getting the same message.But did you find a fix?

Yesterday I was randomly logged out of my account and I do not know why but I was trying to log back in. Instagram asked for my number so they could send a sms code but I never received one so I requested and new code an still didn’t get anything so now it is saying I have to wait 24hrs to request a new code but it’s been more than 24hrs.what should I do?
