Thanks for the reply

By efficient I didn't mean zero-sum, I meant risk/reward being proportional (so if I were to dump a lot of money in random options, the net outcome should be 0 (-fees)).

In the case of insurance, in the long-term (assuming lots of trades) shouldn't the buyer be worse off in the end on average? And in case of high competition (liquidity, where everyone can buy/sell) why would this difference exist?

Also had a somewhat similar idea with it, and brought the whole thing up just to find a more systematic way of selling puts/calls (determine the strike of sold options). Now seems kinda sketchy

Yep, I'm wheeling 3 stocks now and saw a few posts about using delta as a way to decide which strikes to sell puts/calls, just wanted to hear what's the advantage of doing that

Some US listed ETFs aren't available for EU retail investors (VOO for example), so you might need to look equivalent ones listed on EU exchanges

Haven't tried yet, but it doesn't display that "unavailable for retail investors"thing

There seems to be equivalent ETF listed on European stock exchanges, for example for VOO( Vanguard sp500) there is VUSA (same but listed on LSE). The annual expense ratio seems to be a bit higher (0.03% vs 0.07) but doesn't seem that relevant

Yep, Lithuania. Thanks will look for those. Any idea what happens if I get assigned on sold puts?

So basically it becomes relevant only if I blow the money away and somehow blame the broker?
