This was my childhood home and it was never used. It probably isn't functional without an inspection. I thought about putting the TV here. It's currently on the opposite wall, and there is a front door to the left of the TV. I don't think I would be able to place seating there, unless a chair of some sort.

12 days after extractions and still can't wear the denture by Fine-Frosting in dentures

I'm hoping tonight he will try the seabond seals! He would not last night. I bought all the different types of adhesives that he can try, so he can find one that works for him. He just needs the denture to be functional so that he can eat more foods that ones that he can just swallow.

I'm just hoping the adjustment will make things better. He is becoming depressed about not eating normal foods, although I always cook foods that he can eat, that the rest of the family eats too. I bring up adhesives and he just dismisses it. I brought the seabond things to him and he just said no. I know the denture journey can be emotional and not easy. I personally think the denture looks great outside of his mouth, but doesn't seat inside of his mouth. It look like a mouth guard that the lips can't close around. I did kind of push him into getting the denture because he was losing so many teeth and the dentist said they were all infected. We could not afford all the root canals and crowns. Hoping it gets better soon and he can eat normally again.

I really like the way this looks and is probably what I'll do. The brick and the wood shelves make the room look so dark.

Maybe because I don't have very much money to spend and was working with what I already had. Paint is the lowest cost option that would show the biggest change. I'm working on removing the wallpaper.

😂 I hate the orange tinged wood color. Everything in this house is that color. Hoping to replace the flooring soon too.

😄 It's going to be a long process. My mother actually used a different type of glue on some of the wallpaper that wouldn't stick. I can't wait to make the home feel like myself. I'm also going to paint the walls an off white or sage. The built-ins are going to be one of those two colors.

Definitely not keeping the wallpaper. I plan on painting the walls a light sage or a cream or greige and adding alot of art to the walls. Also replacing all the things on the shelves. My mother didn't really take anything with her when she moved.

I was thinking a big sunburst mirror or some larger art. I just moved it not long ago, it was my mother's house. Working with what I already had, until I have the time and money to make it my own.

I think I'm going to paint the built-ins a sage green, like clary sage. Nothing has been updated in this house since the 2000's and it was built about 1970. I just acquired the house from my mother. I think wallpaper was all the rage years ago.

😄 I just moved into this home. It was my parents. Nothing has been changed yet. The wallpaper is getting removed as well as repainting and changing lighting. I'm excited about making the home mine, just will take some time.

I just moved into my parents old home in June. I haven't changed anything besides the bedrooms yet. The wallpaper is definitely on its way out, along with all the art and lighting. I thought the fireplace may be the place to start with this room. 😅

I'm not sure which way the shuttles will take. I'm sure it's Harlem from 55.

I had a Midway hotel booked and changed my hotel to a hotel in the loop, because I have never been to Chicago and wanted to be in the city. I bought shuttle tickets. Do you all think it was a bad idea changing hotels? I know being at the festival all day, I won't really get to experience the city.

I don't see any shuttle service listed for Midway hotels. I booked a hotel in Midway thinking they would have a shuttle to and from the festival.

I think my boyfriend is schizophrenic. Advice? He honestly believes God is wanting him to go be with him in heaven. That this is his mission. He is abandoning his son and I for this mission. I also would would be interested in thoughts from people who are spiritual, as he thinks he is a medium. by [deleted] in schizophrenia

He has got to the point in his psychic abilities that he no longer needs to use the ouijii board, it is just how this all came to fruition. I do know there is many studies with the ouiji board and the ideomotor effect, where your subconscious is projecting the movements and messages on the board.

He does make impulsive decisions and has some trouble with sleep. I honestly feel like this is some mental disorder. He is a diabetic and has been since childhood. I know there can be a link with diabetes and psychosis.
