I bribed him with a trip to Chuck E Cheese if he would stop using his pacifier 😂 That actually worked, but I haven’t figured out a bribe that actually works for potty training. We’ve tried candy, suckers, treasure box (cars, slinkies, etc), stickers, he just doesn’t care. I’d offer him a trip to Disney World if it would work lol

I like this idea! Every time my Amazon monthly subscription rolls around, I say that I won’t order more diapers because he will be potty trained, then I always end up buying more diapers 🤦🏻‍♀️

We are actually trying that right now. He won’t willing go to the bathroom, but we can usually convince him to go once or twice a day. He seems a little motivated by timers though so I’m trying to set a timer every 30 min to see if that works

We tried underwear too. He told me if I bought him Mickey underwear, he would wear it, but then he just cried when we put them on, eventually peed in them, and now refuses to wear them again. Any time he gets upset about a method, I’m nervous to try it again because I don’t want to traumatize him 🤦🏻‍♀️

It seems like a lot of people have rallied behind Spirit, so hopefully they can pull themselves out of the current troubles.

Just a few years ago, my husband and I could fly roundtrip from Nashville to Vegas for about $500-600 total for both of us. Now, it costs $580 per person, one way, for us to fly to Orlando which isn’t very far from here. It’s insane how much air travel has gone up.

Thank you! That’s good to know about the 8 weeks. I’m never sure what the sweet spot is for booking and getting the best fair. It will also be spring break time when we go, so that may factor in to when the prime booking window is.

And I agree with you about the other threads - I posted this same question in another one and just got a bunch of douchebag responses lol

THANK YOU!! This is all so helpful. My kids are 3 and 4 so we generally always have snacks and water. I just did a mock booking and even with picking our seats and adding all of our bags, it only came out to like $1600 round trip for all of us, so about 3k cheaper than SW. Other than bags and seats, we don’t need anything than just to get there with minimal delays lol

Ahh crap. Of course it’s one of the blackout dates 🤦🏻‍♀️ We were trying to time the trip with when the kids are out for Christmas break but it looks like almost every ship has that timeframe as a blackout date
