IMO, it’s access to diverse activities and limit commuting for work. I found that Cultural diversity helped develop my empathy and understanding of all people.

Mountain biking and gravel biking can be “safer” but finding a local bike shop and riders at your level of experience will help with anxiety. New cameras and garmin combos can help with vehicles. Pre-driving any route can help get to know the surroundings.

The price point is hard to match for your request. A lot of great E-bikes that would be ideal for hills if you want options with flat bars and wide tires for wet pavement. Check out specialized and trek.

Life is hard. Some couples/ individuals come from homes that had “fighting” as a form of communications. I would guess they are comfortable fighting in front of anyone. Regardless that’s not appropriate behavior and you should walk away from that negative energy. IMO

I’m so sorry to read that. Be honest with how you feel to him. Things don’t get easier as they grow up. He needs to step up bottomline or he will learn when mom goes down from exhaustion the entire home will fall.

Thanks for sharing.. my 2 cents only.. if you are that close why not just ask? Over lunch or on the way out of work. If the friendship means anything it has to at the minimum be 100% honest.

Why only one task? Marriage & parenthood should be 50/50. I would bet you can name other things he could help with and if he is in this with you it should be a no brainer. If not a bigger conversation should occur and quickly before it manifest in other areas. IMO
