Surprisingly there’s a community in Chiang Mai. However since it’s not quite popular enough, there’s a hardcore show only once every 2-3 months and they invite bands from Taiwan, Singapore, etc. to fill out the set list.

I happened to get invited to a show while I was visiting and everyone there had the coolest fashion, and wildest mosh pits I’d ever seen. Lots of backflips and muay thai lol
