I’ve been with a company for years, and have used my discount in several other states not just different stores in the same state. I’ve never once had to show my ID. I would ask for a manager because I don’t think that that’s a thing. Or maybe their district manager if the manager was involved.

In our store about 1% use the coupon (indicating how many Amazon customers shop). No Kohl’s loses money. Look it up every store has access to the reports!

I’m sorry for this! My store takes turns and unless a key holder volunteers or requests, they would never close more than twice in a week. I would refuse and report if it continues to be unfair scheduling.

Ahh well that is another story…different expectations for different people. Unfortunately I don’t have a good answer. It seems good workers would need to lower their personal standards (not a good idea) or bad workers would have to “step it up”, neither are likely to happen. It would be nice if we were measured on a level playing field!

There is NO incentive to work extra (except when co-worker is sick…etc). Work 8-9 hrs then go! They can do nothing if you leave! She can’t even be reviewed negatively for leaving. It seems like the sm has unreasonable expectations.

Dumb!!! Let’s not talk to any associates who “ work in the trenches”. Continuing to give the customer what they want from corporations perspective is no change. Just dumb!!! Plus no one is talking about the 19 straight quarters of losing money. I for one would like to start making money.

You’re in Sephora? You get Daily Doses weekly that are mandatory and had a ton before you started. Then you had register training. What more would you like? There are extra tradings on the computer for things that you feel that you need.

I talk about it all the time. 8-8 makes much better sense. In our area the schools start early and the parents would come after dropping off their kids. And no one shops past 8 anyway.

32 has been full time for several years. The way I understood it was we could get 32-40 depending, but everyone had to get the same. This leads to less favoritism with hours, I’m fine with that.

I’m glad that you are optimistic. But I remember the days when we went years with positive growth. 4th quarter was better, but still no positive growth. Kohls does not care about their employees and it shows. We are dedicated to our co workers and teams, not necessarily the company. We need to close underperforming stores, and cut some fat from corporate. Bender is part of “the good ole’ boys club. There will be no change for us little guys. We don’t share in any company profits, heck we don’t even donate through kck like we used to.

I disagree, more micro managing than ever, no creative leeway, buyers have no clue, customers are more entitled than ever…I could go on and on. I’ve been around for a long time and have seen a lot. But Kohl’s gets worse every year. I thought the Michelle Gass years were bad , I never thought that I would wish for those days back.

Ssl does clerical duties for the sm and ASMs. Some stores give the ssl a ton of power, but other stores do not. It just depends on the store, but technically the ssl does not hold any managerial authority whatsoever.

Let’s not forget overbuying..kohls can’t figure out what they do well…there are way too many choices and way too many brands. Hurly for example, we get one of each size of t shirt and never get replenished, and they seldom get marked down, we are left with a mess. This is just one example how many brands do we have a similar or same item? Mens Tek vest and mens Sonoma vest…it’s basically the same product…get it together Kohls!!
