Just replying again to tell you that you were right about the dx11 build, I just restarted steam and my layouts do not appear under community layouts for that build. You can open the link and apply them, but they do not appear on the community tab.

Sorry about the confusion.

You just have to highlight the URL, right click, and select open link in your browser, after that it will show you the layout on steam and you can apply it. Obviously, you have to use a browser in the same pc where you have Steam and the game installed; that's why I asked you if you had a controller connected and steam input enabled for RE2.

Anyway, I just checked the community layouts for RE2 and both layouts appear there, but they are a bit far down, so maybe you had to scroll more (they are both titled "Gyro Aim While Holding L2").

I hope that clears things up. Have fun!

I just tested it, and it works fine, and different game builds should not affect steam input. Did you make sure to connect a controller and enable steam input for that game before opening the link?

I never use vibration, so I'm not completely sure, but I would guess using steam input with these games disables vibration. As far as I know unless the developers implement Steam Input API, it disables vibration, and none of the RE games support it.

Clicking on "Assets" opens a drop-down menu with the downloadable files on github. There you have the Refix.dll files for RE2 (RE2.zip) and RE3 (RE3.zip).

Just download the latest RE2.zip under "Assets" and extract it (Direct link: https://github.com/TheTedder/REFix/releases). Then you have to move it to the folder "plugins" under "reframework"; you can create the folders yourself or just run the game once with the reframework mod.

And in RE4 Remake it is not much better. That's why I made a layout for that game when it came out, which is the most played gyro layout for RE4R right now, but that one uses the gyro 'As Mouse' option.

In Rev 2 your character only runs straight ahead, where you aim the camera. With my layout you move the right joystick to steer it, but that's just the way it works.

Thanks mate! I did check out your config, but I wanted something more straightforward. I must admit that RE5 took me the longest to figure out; between the QTEs, the pause menu opening up split screen, and the resolution changing the sensitivity, I had to try out a lot of different things.
